Liefield's Cable #1 varient cover

Despite the fugly teeth, that's pretty good.

Did one of the Djurdjevics' color this?

Don't hotlink Hippie

Someones picture doesn't look like it's from the 90's.

Zomg! Where are the disproportionate arms of old? This is not Liefield. I demand impossibly physique Cable.

He's still holding hairdryer guns, his left leg is way too short, his feet look swollen, his boot knife is at a weid angle and his cape is coming out of nowhere. Other than that, vast imporvement for Liefeld

The..the anatomy is partially correct...I'm amazed. The faces are still terrible, and the guns are still stupidly big. But...it's defintely better than Leifeld usually is.

Not bad, really. But I think a good colorist can go a LONG way towards helping poor pencils.
Of course, he still isn't actually HOLDING his guns. If you look closely, you can see that his gun is kind of just hovering there, and his hand is placed just oh so delicately around it.

He could still use some art classes, but he's also got a lot more raw, untrained talent than a lot of people. it's a shame he's too arrogant to actually, you know, take a class, or he could be absolutely great.

Yeah, whatever, it's the paint. If it were just Liefeld's unaltered pencils, I'm sure it'd look as craptastic as we all expected it to.

That looks like **** and where the **** is the baby comming from it looks like he has a second head?

That big silver thing with the X on his chest? That's a pouch. The baby's in a pouch.

meh still don't impress me, he never has.

Still looks like he is growing a second head. That must be the most uncomfortable pouch ever. Also it reminds me of The Pacifier with Vin Diesel.

It does seem a bit dumb to put the baby front and center on his body mass. Might as well just run around yelling, "Hey, Bishop, aim for the X!"

Yeah pretty much. What the hell is he going to heat the guy up the hair dryers he has in his hands. Another thing he has this whole battle thing going on around him but yet he doesnt have one finger on a trigger. Then there is the Knife that is seemingly glued to his leg this is just bad art.

Yep. A case could be made for his mechanical arm to actually be grasping its gun, but his other hand is totally floating over the gun.

It's amazing how some artists have no idea how guns work. Even Coipel screwed up in Thor. Bullets were hitting Thor then fell to the ground...well the bullets still had the shell casing's on them...what did the guys throw the bullets at Thor?

Where are the triggers on his guns?

I just assumed they had them, wow thanks another flaw to boil over. Don't get me started on the cap that is attached to nothing.

Eh, that I can excuse. Most people never see bullets after they've been fired in any sort of shape to use as references. Logically, it should be understood that the casing is not part of the actual bullet and shouldn't be on it after the bullet is fired, but I can excuse someone for not thinking about it that deeply.
