It's not that crazy to think that since everyone seems to have a connection to Linderman that we will see him at the season finale. It is also not to far off to think he is going to have a power onto himself. What do you think his power is, or is he simply a Kingpin type character?

I never thought of him having a power but now that you mention it he might. That may be why he is buying the paintings and the sword. To see what his future will be and to harness his power.

I dunno, i was thinking about him bein' a Kingpin type too. One who'd maybe have power of his own, but what?

Maybe he could be like Jericho, he comes into eye contact with any of the heroes, and can switch into their bodies. :o

He has the power to manipulate.:wow:

Maybe he's either like Purple man and can control people no we've already got/had one of those... Maybe duplication, that would be cool?

I've always imagined Linderman as the Kingpin/Lex Luthor type, being the Heroes' greatest enemy even without any powers.

Here's a question to think about.....

Has it ever been confirmed that Linderman is male?? Or are we just supposed to assume so, so that we'll be caught offguard once we meet the character? I think a female crime-lord would be nice to see.

^I think he has been called Mr. Linderman, by the woman who seemed to be his assistant (int he episode where Nathan escaped from HRG and Nikki's debt was settled).

You're probably right. I'm too lazy to go check right now. :(

Perhaps that lady was actually Linderman? :D She's trying to throw off the scent. :p

Would it be possible to say that the guy has the power to see into the future ? I notice the guy is always one step ahead of the heroes. So who knows.

maybe shapeshifting?

That's one we haven't seen. If so he could really be anybody in the show and we've probably already seen him/her(since as a shape-shifter he can be both). If this theory is true I'd say he's really Simone' in disguise. That's how he's kept track of what's going on. What do you think about that theory?

Linderman having the power to take away a Heroes' power maybe?

he's really Simone' in disguise.

So linderman had sex with Peter? Ew...

I think Linderman is more like a Xanatos character from Gargoyles, a rich corporate criminal who uses all his money to study things dealing with the paranormal. That explains why he bought the sword that hiro wants. He may also have stolen a copy of Papa Sureshes list.

One thing is for sure he definately knows about the "heroes" and probably has for a long time. After all, it's been suggested that there have been other "Heroes" long before the current crop, so perhaps while folks like Claude and Claire's real mom have gone into hiding (speculation) and others like the Haitian work for the feds, perhaps Linderman is the type who has used his power--whatever it might be--for his own personal gain, sort of like Ozymandius in Watchmen. Hmm, maybe his "power" is the ability to accurately predict mathmatical probability like say, stock market trends (increasing his personal wealth), political trends (backing Nathan for office because he knows he's a sure winner) the percentage of Heroes in the population, path of projectiles (giving him the ability to dodge bullets), sort of like a watered-down version of Asimov's psychohistory.

Of course the real mystery is what Linderman actually looks like. Whoa! Here's a wild idea: What if Linderman is actually the Haitain?

Heh... madness.

I hope linderman doesn't have a power... I think it'd be cool if Linderman was the first to figure out that Isaac's paintings told the future and he's been buying them and using them to predict certain events, amass power and study the heroes, getting more and more of them under his control, like Nathan, Nikki and others.

It'd be a great twist if HRG worked for Linderman too...

I've actually been thinking that. :yay:

I got it he has to power to move a plot!!

lol i used that one already on someone else. :p

I always assumed HRG worked for Linderman, it seems fairly obvious (could be red herrings) given that his boss is all mysterious like Linderman. He's tied to just about everyone else in ways that don't apply to special abilities (money - Nikki/DL [loan/theft], Petrellis [politics/financing], Simone/Issac [purchase/fund art], etc.....I'm guessing he'll be tied to Hiro, too, and eventually Claire/Haitian if he is HRG's boss), so that would tie him into the main plot if he's instructing HRG. I don't know if he's a hero, but right now he has no "super" connections, he's just a mean, rich dude we never see - like HRG's boss.

i find it funny how we are automatically calling everyone witha power a hero.

Not talking about you lurk, just in general. PPl in this forum seem to do that. It's pretty funny, not everyone does so though.
