Before anyone can criticize the number of remakes and sequels coming out, which are a lot, they need to decide if it is necessary first. IMO, most are not.

Inception, Shutter Island, and IM2 for me and thats all thanks, cept I will probably end up seeing some of the other ones.

I think you forgot Jonah Hex

Most of those are jokes, they have to be. Though I am glad to see Dwayne Johnson getting more work.

sex & the city 2,twilight 3, shrek 4 (mainly those 3, but there are more) get a BIG :down for me.

You're not the target audience for Sex & the City or Twilight, so why do you care?

The films I will see in theaters and buy bolded and red and the ones I probably won't buy are in blue. The ones I'll probably just download are just bolded.

What he said. Trust me, I could argue that a ton of movies are a waste of film just because I don't like their premise and don't want to see them, but I'm aware that the world doesn't revolve around me (though it would be a much better place if it did).

Legion - Supernatural thriller starring Dennis Quaid about God sending angels to destroy the world.

I'm embarassed for Quaid this movie looks incredibly stupid.

Total Recall - Remake of the 1990 Arnold classic starring Shai LaBouf as Douglas Quaid.

Why would they do this?

Its so hard to predict the number one box office winner for 2010. It's either Toy Story 3 or Iron Man 2, imo...But then again Shrek 4 will be pretty big too.

I'll go with Toy Story 3 as the box office winner.....

I agree with the poster above me, Legion (dennis quaid) looks real, real, REAL REAL Bad ! ! !

Also, I'm kind of new to this forum, so I didn't realize that they beep out cuss words.

The Kevin Smith film is called 'A Couple of Dikks'. Sorry about that...

^ Toy Story 3 I got my money on, Pixar film, sequel to one of the most beloved movies of all time, people who were kids when the film first came out now with kids of there own, licence to print money. As for the rest, some of those films really didn't need to be made, in fact a large chunk didn't.

Hairspray 2 is definitely not coming out next year. Adam Shankman has been far too busy to actually do anything on that project and considering he just signed to Rock of Ages, I doubt it'll ever get made.

Didn't Dimension want Scream 4 out next year?

It's had all sort of developmental problems, and with it's director and quite frankly the guy they'll want to do the sequel is doing a million other things, he'll never get it filmed for 2010.

Here in Holland we get some flicks from 2009 in 2010, but it makes the lineup all the more amazing:

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
My son, my son, what have ye done?
A Serious Man
Inception
Shutter Island
Iron Man 2
Fantastic Mr Fox
:wow:

And I'm probably forgetting some titles aswell.

Inception
Shutter Island
Green Zone
Iron Man 2
Wolf Man
Clash of the Titans
Tron 2
Scott Pilgrim
Up in the Air
A Couple of *****

Pretty good, I guess.

I don't know where you got this particular info, but it's complete B.S.

A remake is in development, optimistically for 2011, but far from a sure thing. Shia is not attached.
