Which would you rather? Also, this title is hard to say.

This confuzzles me.

Are you saying, would you rather live to be an old man or die young? Fresh face!

I think the poll is asking if you would rather live long but while aging quicker than usual, or if you would rather die younger while never aging past your 20s.

I'd rather live long than look young.

As a guy, I would rather live long and look older, because we can still get hot pieces of young ass in our 70s.

I once knew a Chinese couple named Liv Long and Luk Yeung.

Not really.

Living long is overrated. You'd be bored as hell, and not to mention depressed when your loved ones start dying on you.

Live a normal life lookin' good. Win.

I'm insanely scared of dying so living long all the way.

After having a relative live to be 107 and still have another at 97. I am not that fond of wanting to live long. I know I would end up becoming a pain, I don't really want to be annoying them.

I also see how bored they are, I would not want to be there just thinking about the past all the time. I don't want to get in bed every night and wonder I will wake up. Or if when I do wake up am I going to make it to the toilet on the nick of time.

Screw that, I don't want my life coming to a close in dragged out gloom.

I'll take looking young

I remember reading an article about people who looks younger than they are often lives long. So, I pick look young, because chances are I'll get both choices that way. :p

There's always plastic surgery. . . . live long, FTW.

Looking young is overrated. I'd rather live long, thanks.

That's a hard one... my great-grandmother lived til just before her 107th birthday. If living long means living till I'm 107 and someone else has to wipe my ass... no thanks.

"Is it too much to ask for both?" ;)

Well that has more to do with personality than age. My HS piano teacher is at least in her 70s now and still plays several hours a day with gusto. My mom retired more than 5 years ago and is busier than ever, because she always finds new things to do.

Actually, it's why she claimed she put me and my sister into music and art when we were kids - so we'd have something to do with we're old and not sit around and complain/worry like my dad's parents. :funny:

My bf's grandpa built a deck at the back of his house when he was 74. He's almost 90 and still quite spirited, although he physically can't do a lot of the stuff he thinks he can. So he's driving my bf's mom nuts with worry. But I admire him for that stubbornness. Hopefully he'll just go quickly in his sleep and not spend the last few years of his life watching his body fail him. :csad:

As for the poll question...I'd rather live long since there's still a billion things I want to do/see, but I'd definitely want to go in my sleep before I had to have someone help me eat or wipe my ass. :o
