Have you ever been locked out of your home?
If so. What did you do? Did you wait until
someone arrived with a key? Did you break
a window or door?

I was locked out today, but I just played with my cats until someone got home. Man, me and those cats have some good ****ing times!

I have.

I awkwardly climbed in through one of the unlocked top windows of our bay window. And it was around the time that the high school behind my house was letting out. Still surprised to this day that nobody thought to call the police.

I was locked out of my apartment several times, but I ended up going to the manager's office,so I can get his key to let me in.

I've been locked out of my apartment before. I just got mad and walked around for a few hours and my mom was home.

I live in an apartment building on the second floor, so the one time I forgot my keys at home, I had to sit by my staircase for about an hour and two and waited for my mom to come home from work.

I got locked out of my appartment a few days ago, I went down to the appartments gym and when I came back my room mate came and went and locked the door. I sat on the stairs for about half an hour before I went down to the office to get a key. But I was super sweaty and had no ID on me, so it was a hassle to prove I lived there. Good times.

It happened once when I was younger and my Mum had picked me up from school or something, but forgot her keys. Fortunately my Gran lives nearby, so we just walked there and got a spare key.

Once, when I was 12.

Don't ask, but I used a belt blade. It depends on what type of lock your door or window has in place.

I was able to create space without damaging the lock and door. Within a minute, I manually dislodged the lock.

My dad and I once locked the keys to car in the house while we were uptown at the bank. Top that!

We had an old Pontiac that had a messed up ignition. Once the car was running, you could pull the key out, and it would keep running. Well, dad and I were headed out for a day of fishing. Once in the car, we realized we had forgotten something, so dad pulls the keys out and sends me inside to get whatever it was. I unlock the door, drop the keys on the counter, grab the thing we forgot, and head back to the car, locking the door on my way.

We stop at the bank to draw some money from the ATM, and dad shuts off the car when we park. Dad tells me to start walking. Luckily, a friend of his happens to hit the bank while I'm gone, so he gave us a ride to the house, where I had to monkey with the front window to get in and get the keys.

Fun time!

I used to walk home from school and one time I forgot to take my house key. So when I got back home, I planned to go through my bedroom window, which was like 6 feet off the ground. Now, I wasn't in the best of shape at the time, but it was also hot as **** and I wasn't about to wait around 3 hours for someone to come home. So using all my portly strength, I managed to pull myself up and through the open window.

Why are all our misadventures on here so cartoonish?
