Anyone got any idea what kind of boots Logan wears in ANY of the xmen movies? I find it hard to get a good shot of them...is it normal cowboy boots or some special kind?

Come on people, used too I could come to this forum and get all KINDS of useful info.

FROM this forum, I found out where his jacket came fron, where his belt and belt buckle came from even his dang WATCH. But NOW no one can comment on ANYTHING??

Eh....I must be getting old.

I wanna know about Logans boots, maybe his choice of shirts, heck even his damn wife beaters. Is that a crime?

I know about the jacket, I know about the belt buckle, the belt, the watch, even the pants. The rest, I'm blank on. Anyone got clues???

Knightofistari- Fellow OCD Wolvie fan here and I've also tried to do research on said boots the only thing I could come up with close enough was a popular but now defunct brand of 70's boots called "Frye" which I found on google and ebay by typing in "boot harness". There kind of a mishmash of cowboy/biker touch with a built-in harness strap. For reference: I found a couple pics of Hugh sitting on Bobby's porch(between filming)in X2 to go off of. His pants go up high enough to see detail but the resolution sucks, So I took some liberty and was creative with an existing brown Durango brand work boot (rubber soled)*perfect*, bought thick brown saddle grade cowhide leather, cut into strips,4 steel rings, 8 copper rivets, 4 ring snaps, and well placed leather and BLAMO! instant logan boots. The harnesses/ boots still going strong. The most expensive was the leather. But no regrets and If your interested I can send you links. Oh, by the way would you be so kind as to fill me in on the other wolverine accessories? i.e. watch, pants, tanktop...Thanks.Oh I just found out the denim jacket by Helmut Lang used in X1 was reused by the bully in X2! Found one just like it on eBay last week.

Thanks for the info superDROOL....

The watch is apparently a Red Monkey Vintage watch with the X strap option. (It's rather expensive as watches go..(over 200 dollars
) I would suggest a good fossil watch for a cheap "stand in" as that's what I am ordering. I ordered the Fossil Analog degrade dial watch thats on sale for $59.00)

From what I'm hearing his pants were a normal pair of 527 low rise boot cut levis but of course being for a movie they were custom fit. I've been wearing the levis low rise jeans for years even before I knew Logan wore them, and they seem to fit the bill.

I have no idea where he gets his wife beaters.....they do seem to be a very thick knit style which of course suggest that they are expensive....

The best motorcycle jacket replica to date of course for x1 and x3 are loganscloset.com, although magnoliclothiers.com makes an x 2 replica also.

For the belt and belt buckle, I'd suggest magnoliclothiers.com as they sell both with the appropriate painting of the belt buckle. I even asked indy magnoli if he'd paint the belt buckle the colors of Xorigins and he said he would....so you can get the buckle similiar to x1 and 2 or x0....which is great.

As far as the boots, I have no idea...but thanks for the tips!!!

I bought the dog tags through a normal dog tag site online. Just type in Canadian dog tags in google and you'll get numerous sites. Although the new movie has Logan wearing US dog tags...and they seem to be quite custom so good luck on those.

As far as the denim jacket goes, I've decided to go the same lane I did with the watch and go for an "everyman" approach and get one from Walmart.

Besides, Wouldn't the "real" Logan get most of his clothes from Walmart and/or the local country store? I seriously doubt he'd spend tons of money on his clothes aside from possibly his motorcycle jacket. Other then spending hundreds of dollars on a good motorcycle jacket, which makes sense, I can't see Logan spending good money on watches, shirts and boots. He'd grab whatever was cheapest and easiest.....

Hey, thanks knightofistari for the insight I'm really starting to enjoy the attention to detail Indy Magnoli has on his site for his "Wolverine line" of highly screen acurate clothing from your mentioned belt, all three movie jackets, versions of his famous indian head buckles to his new upcoming Wolverine Origins jacket. Which is awaiting final detail approval :woot: He is starting to gain some major cool points and recognition from us fans in forum boards who have OCD when it comes to our favorite characters.

For those who would like to know, I'm almost positive that the Boots in X2 were "Frye" brand harness boots, the "Chelsea" line which I hear might be discontinued. But the boots which were featured in X3 were "Frye" brand "Calvary" line with or w/o boot harness. I own a staight up pair of brown Durango brand work boot(thick rubber sole) and made my own boot harness of saddle leather.
