For about a week now, my computer will keep logging me off if I don't do anything active for more than maybe 5 minutes, it's frustrating. I'll be booted randomly as well. Then today I tried to log in and it took about 3 or 4 tries, as it kept accepting it, and then took me back to the log in screan.

What's the deal?

It wants you to go outside and play with the other children.

But then my own children would be inside by themselves :(

Have you tried the "Remember Me" function"?

Every single time I log in. It suffers from short term memory loss.

Your computer was made in germany and its name is Sauron.:(

Nah, it was made in Hamilton Ohio by AnnoyingSilence from the hype boards :(

You let him make you a computer? No wonder.....

It's run good until now. This site's just annoying suddenly.

Then AnnoyingSilence is probably the person you need to be talking to about this issue.

logged off from windows? (either black screen restart or just back to the "users" screen?)

if so, i thnk it's prly more than anyone here can help you with...

(if you mean logged off from SHH then it's prlly just an auto-reload + cookie thing or something like that...but i still have no idea how to fix it :o)

maybe your browser isn't allowing SHH to save cookies on your machine...what do your privacy settings look like in Internet Options?

You gotta change your privacy settings.
It will happen to you if you use Netscape broswer and stuff like that.
IE wont log you off, so you gotta change your cookie settings.

If you are on IE and you have this problem, your s*** outta luck.

:)

right click ur background and go into screensaver. theres a box checked that reads "use password protect on resume" or somethin. uncheck it.

Start using a Mozilla based browser, or possibly Opera.
IE is ruining your Windows machine.

if it logs u off windows do what i said previously. If it logs you off this site get firefox. if u get logged off the computer after comin to the hype them sorry man but I think you might have a virus
