Johansson Denies Hollywood Demands

Scarlett Johansson has dismissed claims she lost out on a part in the London stage revival of The Sound Of Music because of outrageous Hollywood demands. Theatre impresario Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber claims he handpicked Johansson for the part of Maria Von Trapp, but axed her when she made ridiculous requests of his West End team. But Johansson's publicist Marcel Parisbeau says, "It is true that there were some discussions regarding Scarlett and the production of The Sound of Music. But Mr. Webber's statement regarding the demands is extremely exaggerated. Her management team was simply asking for terms that an actress of her stature would ask for." The role of Maria will now be played by an actress to be chosen from British reality TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? which will award a six-month contract to one of 10 finalists.

Poor girl! Her part will be earned by a Reality TV winner! When losing there's nothng worse than losing through TV.

Your right it is like High School except with much bigger egos.I think it might have been because of schedualing demands,I think I've read something like that,I don't think it's something like what Mariah Carey demands...Having M&Ms with a certain color picked out of the bag or like J.LO. who has to have her dressing room redone,ect...or john travolta who is another one with stupid demands cause he made pulp fiction,some of these actors are like baseball players...a bunch of rich crybabies.
