It's on from April 30 to May 4, in London, UK, of course.
There's a 'sci-fi film school' event (discussing script, sound, make-up, effects), and many movies. These include a Russian sword and sorcery movie called Wolfhound, a time-travel drama called 11 Minutes Ago, and a dark dystopian French sci-fi thriller called Chrysalis. Suspension is about a man who can stop time (like Hiro in Heroes, I guess), Vexille is Japanese anime, and there's much more.
I have no involvement with the event, but I thought it worth mentioning here. I'm hoping to get there for at least one of the movies. Might see some of you there!
