I'm in London next week on business and saw that this is happening on the weekend. If I got time I might go to it

That Cheerleader chick from Heroes that everyone here likes is suppose to be there and so is Patrick Stewart.

I dont really go to Cons here in the States (never really had time) but I figure this might be interesting.

Anyone else going?

I am going just as I like to go to cons, I was going to meet some people but they cancelled lol damn them hehe

But I am going on the Saturday :D

I'd love to go, to see Hayden, Jack Coleman, Patrick and Nighy.
I dunno, if I knew about this earlier...I would've arranged to go :/

I was wondering when they were going to do this, I'm going.

That's a tad lame. Just checked coach prices...eh, I'll wait till next year.

Why can't there be any cons near me? :csad:

Seems like a lotta cons happen out of London though...

The Collecto one is in Milton Keynes thats the other big one.

London Expo is fun! Thats in Octorber going to that as I always do, otherwise I can't think of anymore.

There better not be any cosplay at this one.....

Well I was on there board and I think people are going to do it, I'm not I do that at expo as like more then 80% of people do, so you don't like the whole cosplay idea thing?

It's not that I dont like it.....

It's just I hate it. At the ones here in the states you got grown men and women (who really are in no physically fit shape or age to be wearing a kids costume) with signs saying free hugs rushing up to you tackling you with a hug and wanting for you to take a picture, when all along you were looking in the other direction.

smh@ the 38 year old virgin who looks like the Simpson's comic book guy dressing up in a Sailor Moon outfit with a FREE Hugs sign that looks like he snatched it from the bum on the street running around chasing people for hugs and gigglng like the Pillsbury Doughboy.

But other than that its great.... I mean I'll take a pic with an Elektra or a Catwoman.

.....I'm not into conventions but I did go to Otakon once or twice. Some of those cosplayers need deodorant. I remember standing in line with one in front of me and one in back of me it was like being in a funk sandwich....:ninja:

Yeah, I get what you mean with the Free Hugs you get them at Expo but most of them are not in cosplay...

Free hugs are annoying lol

But like I do get about the people who where those outfits who shouldn't lol who look bad in them lol and really some people smell eww lol.

But I don't go in a superhero outfit, and mine is pretty much a professionaly made outfit, so its not crap lol.
