Found this today and I must say it is one of the best graphic novels I have ever read. As a person that suffers from mental illness they way it is portrayed here is stunning and very accurate. The art is amazing and if you or anyone you know has gone through things like bi-polar or schizophrenia this will resonate with you to your very soul. I intend on buying the book to support this artist because she is doing some truly amazing work.

And if you have ever wondered what it is like to go through being mentaly ill then you should definitely check this out. You will not be disappointed. In 7 chapters you can knock it out in an hour or so too.

I'm a manic depressive so I will check this out.

Has anyone read Marbles: Mania, Depression, Michelangelo, and Me: A Graphic Memoir? I picked it up after it was called one of the best books of 2012. It really didnt resonate with me as the author and I clearly had very different experiences but I thought I would pass it along.

Ya check it out when ya can, it really is so similar to what I went through and at times it made me a little uneasy when I was reading it because it brought up so many memories. I think you will really enjoy it

Avoidant personality disorder or reactive attachment disorder or anti-social disorder guy here, and I've gotta say the comic even nails that.

Ya the author said she went through a bout with mental illness in 2002 and wanted to do a comic about it since those are few and far between. One of the best graphic novels I've read in quite sometime
