Do you mean this?

You have to be a little more specific about what you are asking for, cause there are lots of pictures from the ''leather phase'' in Morrison's run (and I found the art was quite horrible at the time).

I suppose the cover of NX#116 gave a better proof about her 'package'.

wow...they all look so...bulky...are they working in the arctic or something?

yes i was thinking about those costumes. It wasn't just Quitely on art back then, there was some Ian Churchill too right?

I'm just looking for anything with those costumes

I'll see if I have any more of them when I have more time.

well that's Frank Quitely for ya. ive been collection X-Men back issues aggressively for the past 2 years or so, but i've made a conscious effort to avoid any book (except for a handful) during Morrison's run specifically because i cannot stand the art. the only person who did them justice was Jimenez. i hated the costumes themselves because i associate them with Quitely's art. now on the other books, i loved what Churchill and Garney did with them.

Am I the only one who loved Quietely? Im upset that he didnt do more issues as he took alot of time off in between issues. I didnt care for him at first but he did grow on me, especially compared to Korday who did alot of fill in issues at that time and was absolutely dreadful.

Anyways here are some pics. I thought Churchill and Larroca were the best artists to tackle these costumes

Not a Quitely fan either! With him, the jackets of the New X-men team looked more like puffy jackets...

Along with Churchill and Larroca, Ethan Van Sciver also made the leather costumes more palatable (see the final 3 images that Havok83 have posted).

And it was pretty ballsy of Ethan to sneak in his drawings the word "Sex" all over that one issue of New X-men.. :woot: LOL

I remember they couldnt settle on 1 costume for Emma. She had like 4-5 different ones depending on what book she was in

I loved FQ on the book too and it was how I was introduced to his work. I thought he was one of the few to make the black leather look decent, but after seeing his 'superhero' pictures it makes me wish the run could have been done with costumes.

sex? I must be blind I don't see it.

I think Churchill did the outfits the best

At lease that was pretty close to the nature of most women in the world.

Nuff said? Do you mean the "Silent issue" month that most (all?) books had to adhere to. New X-men's Silent issue was done by Frank Quitely so Van Sciver did not do a Sildent issue.

I was talking about New X-men #118. <Check out the link...it was awesome :D

whoops, my bad. I knew that Nuff Said had lots of sex references so thats what I thought this was what was meant

This is the cover of #135

Emma stood out like a sore thumb.

And their uniforms look more like blue rather than black in it.

Ughhh lame lame lame. The costumes were alright, but Beast as a cat monster makes me die a little inside everytime I see it......... Though on a positive note, I always did like Xorn. I can't really pinpoint it, but I thought he was cool and when it turned out he was magneto, I was annoyed.

Which isn't too far off by the way...

And what the hell is Jean wearing...LOL
LMAO, she must have had to use her TK to keep herself from falling in those high shoes

^ :hehe: IIRC, emma wears the same high boots!

The running joke during Quitely's run was that the X-men look like they were sucking on lemons... *looks at Emma*
