Looks like someone didn't read/watch Jurassic Park

As a black guy and an occasionally designated comic relief sidekick, I'll be avoiding this guy.

When it starts to eat people, I can lean over to him and whisper, "Now you're John Hammond." :o

Well, I'm pretty sure he read JP.. He was one of the consultants on the movies...

I heard about this while getting touch ups on a tat few weeks ago.

While it be awesome....the side effects may not be good...so....

:facepalm

I am incredibly disappointed in Horner. He seemed like one of the good ones.

The implications of cloning dinosaurs are negative in every way. As someone who studies dinosaurs, he should realize that more than anyone.

And he was a scientific advisor for the Jurassic Park movies. Maybe he's like 'Don't be silly, that was a movie, this is real life.

:o or maybe this is his way of impressing women so he can get laid.

I'm not talking about theme parks gone awry. I'm talking about how different the world is today from the conditions over 65 million years ago. I'm talking about how the "dinosaurs" created would still be different from what existed in the past. I'm talking about all the moral issues that come along with creating a creature for the express purpose of exploiting it. If all that happened was that some poor saps die in the jaws of Tyrannosaurus rex, then that's a good thing, but it's very likely that any dinosaurs created would live short painful lives, and wouldn't tell us much about actual dinosaurs anyway.

Oh...I never though about their safety and concern. But I'm sure that John Hammond guys is.

Probably not. The Animal Welfare act doesn't cover reptiles and it only barely covers birds, genetically created dinosaurs are a tricky issue legally, and would likely be subject to horrible cruelty.

Man, I know it's not safe for here, but there's a YTMND that, if it was okay to post, I'd be posting here right now. I'm sure most of you know which it is, but those who don't, well, if you can't figure out how to find it, then poo on you.

"and is said to be an inspiration for the rugged protagonist, Alan Grant."

Except for Alan Grant was totally bad ass and this guy is... not.
