LOL. But it's ALAN MOORE pornography!
Judging by his track record, this is going to be the single greatest article of pornography ever conceived.

Yes,even better than Pulp Friction,Thrill Bill,Jackie's Brown,or ****** Dogs.:o

So I'm surprised I haven't seen any talk around here for Lost Girls, Alan Moore's new book.

For those that haven't heard, Lost Girls (portions of which were previously published in some very indie books) is being collected into one massive $75 set. It's not unlike League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, in that it features a crossover between several characters from older literature - Dorothy Gale, Alice, and Wendy Darling. Except.... it's them sharing stories of their sexual escapades with each other.

So it's basicly porn. But it's Alan Moore. So there's a whole "pornography as art" debate going on. Lots of retailers are refusing to carry it (for a variety of reasons). I'm personally really curious to check it out and see what it's like, if it is indeed porn or art

Here's the debate over at LITG

Lost Girls is really Moore playing about, it's just Alan really.

and he learned that after posting a thread about wanting to start a comic shop:)

We all dream of that. We just all know that they are money pits except for the lucky few.

I'm curious to know what his daughter thinks about all this...

Well, being a fan of Alan Moore and Wold-Newton Universe things, I might check it out.

Though I'm more interested in the next volume of LOEG.
