Lounge 78

I love that theory that avocado green appliances, yellow carpets, and brown paneled walls were popular due to the popularity of smoking.

Obviously your desire is for me to wake up in sheer terror after the nightmares this will induce
Not a fan of snakes, huh? :D

Make coffee with a Moka pot and I kinda like how beautifully pretentious it makes me feel.

I lit incense, spayed Fabreeze, and the windows open for most of two two days. It's BETTER, for sure, but still skunky. I've made coffee, too, but the skunk is still having it's revenge. :(

Have you tried washing your dog with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda?

It's supposed to help get rid of the smell.

In an episode of Curious George, George got sprayed by a skunk and the Man in the Yellow Hat gave him a bath in tomato juice.

That has to work. It was aired on PBS.

I’ve heard of this tomato juice “hack.” But while this might work as a doggie shampoo, it’s probably impractical for the upholstery. :cwink:

None of that S*** really works. LOL. When I lived in Oregon, the doge slept in the basement (it had a door to the outside). They'd go have dog fun and then head down to the basement where the heater intake was........ :funny:

True story. When I was at UC Santa Cruz, my friend Ginny had a Curious George stuffed doll that she LOVED and kept it on the pillow of her bed. When she was at class, I snuck into her room and hung him from the ceiling with about a 8 turn hangman's noose that I fashioned.

Somehow she was able to guess who it was although I denied ever doing it. She never believed me. :csad: That was very hurtful to me.:funny:

When I worked at my local prosecutor’s office as a young lawyer, one of the young lawyers whose office was next to mine had a stuffed Taco Bell Chihuahua that would say “drop the chalupa” when you squeezed it.

One of the other attorneys and I stole it one day and hid it for about a week. She looked everywhere for it. Then we started calling her office phone (this was pre-caller id) and when she’d answer the phone, we’d make the dog say “drop the chalupa.” She would cuss like a salty sailor describing what she would do to us if she found out who took the dog.

Maybe Ginny was smarter than her because you were the obvious culprit. :funny:

Great, weather people can't get their news right, got hit by a thunderstorm while trying to feed the cats even though their radar says I had a window for about a hour , heavy rain and now tornado warning.

Holy ****! a tornado has touched down not too far from me

Thanks, all my stations has the weather now due to the tornado, was going to bed soon but I'll stay up a bit longer to keep a eye on the weather
I hope you and all of your pets are okay. :(

seems the funnel never touched the ground, did cause wind damage over there. I got tons of heavy rain, at least the cats have plenty of shelter I put up in the back

already had my share of close calls, one hit near my Grandma's home and I've seen the damage after, the other one was only a couple miles from me

Yeah, I won't be going there anytime soon either. I can't think of a single reason to live in Florida.
