......wondering whether the gene I have is good or bad.......

So, I've always dabbled in writing and recently started a draft of a short fantasy novel for children. Evidently, there's a magic door in the fence in our backyard where my dogs can enter a magical forest and have fantastic journeys. The funny thing about writing is that when you put something on paper that is close to your heart, it opens doors in your mind that can be both exciting and sad. No one ever told me to approach writing with care, but when those doors are opened, they can never be closed. I've found that out for myself. I'm glad to explore those avenues, but they aren't for everyone.

Writing is best done when you do it for yourself! Let your mind take you to all the wonderful places you've always wanted to go.
