Lounge 78

I would assume that Kansas the state and Kansas the band suffered equally.

Or rather... I'd like to think that Kansas the band and Kansas the state suffered the same.

Yeah, **** Hawkeye.

Halfway(ish) point on friend blanket #3 (final blanket)...I’ve got until dec 11th to finish this up (that’s when me and my friends decided to get together to have lunch/exchange any presents we have for each other, etc...). Probably a good thing I decided to take Monday-Wednesday (with the company giving us Thanksgiving and the day after off) this week. Chances are likely I will bring this with me to family dinners so I can keep working on it. Time crunch!!

oh, loved it!

Dear web frends, I am in need of advice.

I recently developed an interest in learning saxophone. I've been watching many videos about saxophone and listened to bass and other saxy music.

Now, before I make any economical investments in learning sax, I'd like to know whether it's just a temporal fixation or a real interest.

Now one simple solution is to wait a few months and see if I'm still interested, But I'd like to know of y'all experiences with learning to play an instruments, whether you kept at it or if you lost interest and abandoned, and when did you knew it was a serious interest.
cheers, and happy holidays .

Never played a musical instrument. To me... It's magic.

All I ask of you is please... Practice safe sax.

Is there anywhere you can rent an instrument and try it before you spend a lot in case your interest wanes? Perhaps check pawn shops or used instrument stores?

Snowflakes in the air outside. :( I'm not ready for this.

Ernie Keebler and his elves must be into some serious **** as a side business.

I get kind of sick of the weather in southern Cal. Today is clear. A high of 75 F, and a low of about 50. It's nice and all, but there really aren't any seasons except pretty warm, a little bit cold, and way too Fing hot. I wish it would start raining, but the dogs don't.
