On this day, Loki stole 200K and jumped from a plane.... :D

Finally had my endoscopy yesterday morning, and despite some rough starts, (being late, them being unable to find the vein in my arm at first), it went surprisingly well. The actual procedure only lasted about five minutes, which was nice. Also helped that the nurses were so kind. They found nothing wrong.

Got to go home after 30 minutes later, didn’t have any pain or side effects for the most part, but was drowsy when I got home.

Glad to know you got through it okay and all is well.:)

I've been watching some fitness videos and a guy made a "healthy" version of a hamburger by using slices of iceberg lettuce as the buns, and I just don't get it.

If you want to eat a hamburger, eat an actual hamburger, which requires buns. If you are cutting out carbs in your diet, then make something else with the same ingredients (taco salad with the meat, lettuce and tomatoes and onions is still a very tasty meal).

I would agree. Lettuce is a poor substitute for a nice toasted bun.

Julia Child actually made hamburgers in the French way which eliminated the bun and put it in a red wine sauce.

I don't even have to watch that.....I remember it. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I was watching some college football games and the weather looks pretty gnarly in the midwest. It got me to thinking about winter in West LA

So, I get a new range tomorrow. I have an old Thermador that I really like, but a couple of the burners are having ignition problems and they don't make the circuit boards anymore. LOL. It's sorta like my living room couch. It's a nice couch, but maybe has "some" wear on it. I love it, but my wife wants the recliner to break so we have to get a new one.

:funny:

I got a commercial quality, but basic range. No bells and whistles, but high grade components. 15K BTU burners (don't need more than that), two ovens (same basic layout as this one. Convection baking, hi-temp broilers, and interior lights. Not a bunch of S**t to break.

so...woke up around after 11 PM, weird dream of some sort of crab walking on me.

Noticed my sister newest kitten was on my chest, had the door closed went to bed early because of I was worn out and don't like the cats in my room if I can't keep a eye on them. One of the other bigger cats pushed the door open and Zip came in too and I guess liked the heated blanket I was using
