Age doesn't have anything to do with it. Logan is the quintessential, rugged man. And Efron, although physically fit, is still a pretty boy. Ergo, he'd be wrong for the role.

SS is definitely a better movie overall, though I would say the third act is just as bad as Fan4stic.

Ironically, both have pretty similar third acts. A horrendous villain with laughable dialogue, terrible dialogue from all the characters, bad motivations and action with silly stakes. Complete with a blue portal shooting from the sky.

Yeah, except SS was actually embraced by the general audience and actually won awards.

My dad had a hoot with it, and he's been forced to take us kids to these movies since X-Men, so they did something right. And I like the aspect of "giving convicts/prisoners a second chance" of it, as I believe in that for real prisoners.

I just want Fox to put the money into letting Trank finish his film, that's surely cheaper than making ANOTHER reboot that will fail, and there's surely a loophole that makes it count to keep the rights, no doubt

See, I'm really not bothered by the whole thing because i'm 99.5% certain there will be some twist at the end that reverts Cap to his old self My thing is, Nick Spencer and Marvel knew exactly what they were doing. They absolutely positively knew that a story like this would engender this kind of vitriolic response.This is exactly what they wanted. Captain America (the comic) is now a trending topic and buzzing in the comic world. This is technically a job well done to them. There's no point in pleading ignorance of "oh, we didn't know the fans would react this way, people are overreacting."
