This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]531331[/split]
...still think the africa subplot shouldn't have been a part of the film.
It should've all been set from the black zero event.
I would have had something different. I'd have had Superman saving people on a train or something a bit more spectacular. You still could have had the actor and bullet subplots but it would have shown us more Superman as the world saw him before things started to turn sour for him. If I have a major critiscm of the film it's that we didn't get to see Superman be Superman before the world became split on him. I think BvS would have actually benefited from been 2 films.

That was actually in the tie-in comics lol.
the TC made me think that the woman in the hearing at the start was from black zero event (because the prologue was about Bruce Wayne in Metropolis).
the UC made sense.

oh is that what confused people? the strong african accent wasn't enough of a indicator?![]()
She did talk about her parents in her village and how they tried to run.
Anyway with the TC I still understood the themes and the character motivations they were going for. With the UC it was explicitly shown to us. Only thing that slightly confused me in TC was seeing those pictures of Santos's body sent to Clark and I was like how the hell did he die.
agreed about BVS needing to be two films. Could have ended it at the resolution of their fight on a cliff-hanger and had the cameos, warehouse scene, doomsday fights, WW and death of superman stuff in part 2.
Also what you brought up makes me totally want to see Superman stop a train heist in MOS 2

Lol I don't know if non english speakers can differentiate different accents...plus America's a pretty diverse country, it's not like you have an African lady speaking out in Japan
Maybe I got confused by the trailers too, it looked like a hearing for Superman's battle with Zod.

it's quite awesome, and it reminds me of the end credit for IM3 (I think? or one of MCU movies, Winter Soldier?)
My heart warmed a lot when I saw Zack's name on the big screen.

brought to you by "hope, optimism and FUN!!11!!"
OK but seriously the new Iron man armor in Spider-man: homecoming is the absolute most obvious, blatant attempt at changing the suit only to sell new toys and merch. It's red and gold as usual...but wait... the thighs, arms and crotch region are silver! quick go buy the Spider-man: homecoming variant of Iron man quick quick quick. and it looks terrible to boot. Marvel studios... blatantly corporate since 2010

but yes I agree. I think they used a real suit for the most part? or just better CGI? because it looked way more convincing. In AOU it looked like an effin' drawing

it also felt way more powerful in IM1 and Avengers. Like if he had worn that against bucky and cap he would have won without breaking a sweat
