...still think the africa subplot shouldn't have been a part of the film.
It should've all been set from the black zero event.

I would have had something different. I'd have had Superman saving people on a train or something a bit more spectacular. You still could have had the actor and bullet subplots but it would have shown us more Superman as the world saw him before things started to turn sour for him. If I have a major critiscm of the film it's that we didn't get to see Superman be Superman before the world became split on him. I think BvS would have actually benefited from been 2 films.

agreed about BVS needing to be two films. Could have ended it at the resolution of their fight on a cliff-hanger and had the cameos, warehouse scene, doomsday fights, WW and death of superman stuff in part 2.

Also what you brought up makes me totally want to see Superman stop a train heist in MOS 2

That was actually in the tie-in comics lol.

the TC made me think that the woman in the hearing at the start was from black zero event (because the prologue was about Bruce Wayne in Metropolis).

the UC made sense.

oh is that what confused people? the strong african accent wasn't enough of a indicator?:huh::huh:

She did talk about her parents in her village and how they tried to run.
Anyway with the TC I still understood the themes and the character motivations they were going for. With the UC it was explicitly shown to us. Only thing that slightly confused me in TC was seeing those pictures of Santos's body sent to Clark and I was like how the hell did he die.

Lol I don't know if non english speakers can differentiate different accents...plus America's a pretty diverse country, it's not like you have an African lady speaking out in Japan :oldrazz:

Maybe I got confused by the trailers too, it looked like a hearing for Superman's battle with Zod.

I totally heard that, and I thought she was an African lady living in US, and describes buildings and cities as "village" and they tried to run away from the collapsed buildings. lol.

I just worry about ending on a cliffhanger.

I think I'd have had the first film be Batman v Superman and at the end they'd team up. But the sole focus of the film would be their conflict and Lex's plans. Although I would have done something different and had Lex Luthor Sr and Jr work together. Lex Jr would be a bit on the fence or been bad or good and wouldn't fully embrace his dark side until the end. The Luthors would create conflict between Batman and Superman although there would already be a clash of ideologies. The end would be Batman and Superman fighting Lex Sr in the power suit. Something goes wrong Lex Sr dies cause his suit explodes and in the midst Lex Jr loses his hair.

The second film would be Batman Superman: Dawn of Justice and would be Lex Jr creating Metallo and at the end Doomsday as he wants revenge on Batman and Superman for his Father dying. It would be a little like Public Enemies with Wonder Woman playing a similar role she did in BvS. Superman would sacrifice himself at the end for the world etc.

I have more in depth versions but I would need to take up a lot of time going into them.

I definitely want to see Superman stop a train heist in MOS2.

I know I wish they'd had that in the film and the statue unveiling where an angry Bruce Wayne is watching it while working out.

UC was definitely more coherent

Oh yeah maybe that's why. Although the african lady wasn't in the trailers. but yeah I get how some people could have misconstrued

it's quite awesome, and it reminds me of the end credit for IM3 (I think? or one of MCU movies, Winter Soldier?)

My heart warmed a lot when I saw Zack's name on the big screen.

I have a little sadness inside me every time I see WW's pics/videos etc, because I don't have the time to watch it again anytime soon =( maybe I should take a sick leave and not let my wife know =P

Naaa just scrap the whole idea. Or at least make it more integral in the other characters arcs. That's the thing that annoys me most about BvS, all the characters seem to be doing their own thing alone until the 3rd act.
Lois is alone off in DC, Clark is all alone, Bruce and Alfred are alone, same with Lex. It would've been great to have those characters subplots mesh together a bit. Like, have Lois and Clark working on both the bullet and Batman together. Have Lex working with Bruce more and manipulating him from close quarters instead of writing on stuff with a red pen. Hell even have Lex take Clark under his wing!

OK but seriously the new Iron man armor in Spider-man: homecoming is the absolute most obvious, blatant attempt at changing the suit only to sell new toys and merch. It's red and gold as usual...but wait... the thighs, arms and crotch region are silver! quick go buy the Spider-man: homecoming variant of Iron man quick quick quick. and it looks terrible to boot. Marvel studios... blatantly corporate since 2010

It's not really talked about at the WW thread, so what's your families/friends' reaction when
WW killed fake Ares? My wife's like, "that's it huh, we are the patsies?" Then Sir Patrick appeared and she said "so that's the real one?"

Yeah....Iron Man's suits have gone way down in quality imo. The IM1 suit and The Avengers suit are the best.

Disney hack #1- how do we sell more Iron man toys?
Disney hack #2- a half painted mark 46.
Disney hack #1- that's.... brilliant.

but yes I agree. I think they used a real suit for the most part? or just better CGI? because it looked way more convincing. In AOU it looked like an effin' drawing

it also felt way more powerful in IM1 and Avengers. Like if he had worn that against bucky and cap he would have won without breaking a sweat

Yeah that's what pisses me off the most I think. Iron Man 1 he gets his by a tank missle and launched into the ground and is okay, in Civil War, he gets a couple of cars on top of him and breaks his arm.

Oh and I can't stand how they took away the arc reactor in him. Why do that?! It was handled so poorly.
