Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Marvel seriously has zero trust in Tom Holland Spiderman and they want to make sure he is never allowed to stand on his own...

I remember this same talking point being thrown around at Captain America who always had to rely on others instead of standing on his own.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that about Cap. CW Flash comes to mind though.

And it was true. It is also true with WB and The Flash.

It could also be they don't want a solid Spidey in Sony's back pocket.

It could also be Sony wanting that "MCU rub" over Feige being concerned about Spider-Man holding his own.

I don't know the specifics behind the deal with Sony/Marvel but its likely that the inclusion of MCU characters was a big part of getting a deal signed.

He's had 2 solo outings before that. MCU Spidey only had FFH as his solo outing. HC was boosted by IM and now NWH is boosted by Strange.

I agree. His first movie had a lot of Tony in the marketing. The 2nd movie was around how he is moving on after Tony. He's still using the iron suits. And now this moving seems to have other Spider-Men.

And for the cigar aficionados on here:

If you can get a box of 'Chateau Fuente Queen B' Cigars do it.

I can't remember the specifics either (nor do I care to look) but the Iron Man stuff ruined what was a decent first film. Didn't see FFH but I can tell you Dr. Strange's ridiculous wig is enough to guarantee I aint seeing Spiderman: One More Day ;)

The entirety of the Sony/MCU Spidey is just odd. I am not sure either have any clue what do with it...Tom Holland looks better as the guy from Uncharted than he does as Peter Parker.

My buddy was so pumped when they cut the deal...he has been collecting Spidey for almost 30 years off and on. (he has some cool comics like first appearance of the Black Suit though he quit 616 Spidey after OMD) It was like pulling teeth to get him to see Homecoming, he watched FFH at his house and he has yet to even see the trailer with you know who for this last one. Him being that apathetic towards Spidey would be like me being apathetic towards Superman...a character I have loved since as far back as 3 years old.

I hope this means that Cavill is going to guest appear in one of the upcoming DC movies...

Elden Ring looks really good. I might even get a PS5 for that.

I get the sense that From Software are about to deliver the game of the decade.

Now if only Bluepoint can get to work on a Bloodborne remaster and I'll officially never leave my couch.

I wouldn't hold your breathe...

Yeah, WB doesnt seem to really know what to do with Superman in general, so i dont think they would do anything with Cavill either.
I do think with the right person and script, Cavill could make a fine Superman no doubt and part of me does feel he deserves a chance for a proper Superman film...but it is what it is.

Cavill and his camp have been saying "the cape is still in my/his closet" for 3 years now. I'd love for it to be true, but as ever I ain't holding my breath.

At least we got Snyder's League this year, and I actually like it despite some awkwardness, and them barely filming new scenes for it.

I echo the voices interested in seeing more of Cavill as Superman, but as @dhandler01 and others have said; I'm not holding my breath.

Was the epilogue most of the new stuff filmed for ZSJL? Cause I wish that wasn't in the film...
