Lounge of Justice - Part 90

I am genuinely hoping Topher Grace gets another shot at Venom. Bring him in as Anti-Venom alongside Hardy or something. I know it probably won't be good, but I will love it.

I do like Topher as an actor though.

he's a good actor that doesn't get enough attention. everyone just thinks that 70s show kid.

i did not even recognize it was him at first when he played andrew garfield's friend in under the silver lake.

This is a terrible look. Somebody should ask them how many bonesaws they got.

I saw quite a few people mention Cyberpunk earlier. I actually haven't had many crashes and bugs playing on PC but the game is just so frustrating.

-It's clearly a looter but there's a carry weight limit. Why? So you have to needlessly fiddle around in the inventory menu?

- If your game has like 4 romance options then don't limit them to specific genders. Like why do this? Do you want people to have less fun playing your game?

-Establishing a friendship with Jackie is glossed over with a 30-sec montage. Pretty obvious that they cut this content because of time but its absolutely detrimental to the narrative.

-Character customization is pretty pointless without 3rd person cut scenes or 3rd person mode. They said that they removed them to create immersion but it's again pretty clear they removed them because they didn't have enough time. And why you can't customize your character during the game is baffling. In fact, there are parts in the game where changing your look would totally make sense.

-So there's the photo mode which is pretty good. Too bad that 90% of the clothes you get look like pure garbage. It's unforgivable considering that there are some amazing-looking NPCs.

To me Cyberpunk is good but not worth the wait.

- Weight/inventory limit is nothing new in RPGs. You can always increase it depending on how you want to build your character. If not, since you play on PC there should me an infinite weight mod down the road. That mod + Auto-loot were amazing during my playthrough of The Witcher 3.

- Yeah that whole 6-month montage was a joke. Story content related to life paths have clearly been cut. I remember reading about backstories like having a childhood hero and the reason why you came to Night City (death of a friend, business reasons...)

- I found two legendary items (torso and legs) but they're a corpo set. They have great stats but on a role-playing viewpoint, are you willing to put them on if you're playing a Nomad or Street Kid? It's all personal preference so this is a matter of "style over function" or vice-versa. I agree with lack of cusmotization; there should be some barber shops around to get a new haircut.

While I did enjoy my time during the weekend launch, I asked for a refund due to much content being cut (I don't mind bugs). Hopefully a Definitive Edition with all the missing stuff gets released down the road. It's clear the game wasn't ready to be released, but the stupid ****s in management decided otherwise...

Same here. Enjoying the hell out of Demons Souls remake right now. Along with Spider-Man, these are the only true next gen experiences that are worth playing at the moment.

I don’t really feel like Dune ever had franchise potential. Definitely seemed like another Blade Runner type deal to me. But one does not simply piss off the Denis.

The movie also has no payoff, it ends in the middle of everything. I don't see it having good word of mouth.

Take it with a grain of a salt for now. Though the second tweet is from the dude who first broke that Alfred Molina is coming back for Spider-Man. So I do think there’s some merit to the news. Any thoughts on this @flickchick85? I’m hoping they find a director like Matt Reeves(who was in the running to direct MOS at one point) and reboot Superman. Cavil can remain Superman for the DCEU while another actor take over for the solo Superman movies.

I'm not a first person player by nature, but there are some I still really enjoy. Since these were the same developers of Witcher 3, my all-time favorite game, I was still looking forward to this game. Aside from all the issues on the Ps4 such a glitches and blah graphics, my biggest issue is that this game just felt uninteresting to me. I was expecting a much more immersive world, but it feels far from that. With Witcher 3, it felt like that world existed independent of Geralt. With Cyberpunk 2077, it feels like this world would not exist if my character were not on that block or street corner. AI characters barely interact or have a life of their own. It feels relatively empty. It just feels hollow to me. If you are going first person, I would assume the point is to make it immersive.

Plus, I've seen some reviews talk about the lack of customization throughout the game. I was expecting that you could upgrade your body parts like have cool gadget arms and what not, but it seems you are pretty limited in what you can do.

I'm really not sure what they've been doing all this time with developing this game, but I'm personally returning it. Pretty disappointing.

I said in the Cavill thread, but I'm skeptical of the framing as "It's either gonna be a sequel starring Henry or a reboot with a new actor," because those are like the only two options. It seems like one of those common sense guesses that you often see posited as insider info.

Still hopes Henry comes back btw.

I'm still in the pro-Abrams camp for this, so I hope it's true that he's moving forward. But it also kinda feels like a logical prediction more than anything, so I'm definitely taking that with a spoonful of salt. And yes, Cavill sticking around for guest-spots with the old crew and having a new actor for an Abrams reboot series would be my preference. I have no desire to see a continuation of the world Cavill's Supes belongs to. I want a re-imagined Supes, re-imagined Metropolis, re-imagined Kents, re-imagined Daily Planet crew, the works. I'm fine with the DCEU continuing to be a thing as long as we ALSO get something fresh and totally different from the Snyder-verse.

Dune was gonna be a tough sell regardless, but if WB didn't even do the due diligence of properly consulting them first, I can see why they'd be pissed. Regardless of how you feel about streaming, just about everyone involved seems to agree the handling of the move and the announcement was extremely piss poor.

When you find out Alejandro Jodorowski has a gorgeous grand daughter actress, but she has never met him, despite living 6 blocks from one another.

Legendary are being delusional. If they want a franchise, streaming is the place to go. Dune and the like won't survive in theaters
Yeah, most of WB's 2021 slate will tank in theaters amidst intense competition, many blockbuster movie getting released throughout the year to clear the backlog.

I think releasing WW84, Matrix 4, Godzilla V Kong, Mortal Kombat and Dune on streaming will actually help these movies, as they won't be under pressure to breakeven.

The Expanse S5 E4 Guagamela - brilliant piece of 45 mins tv experience. Haven't been so engrossed with a tv episode for a long time.

I was surprised at how much I liked Topher in BlackkKlansman.
I didn’t even know he was in it! Need to go back and check who he was lol.

I’ve been wanting to start this show.
I highly recommend this show. I barely watch most tv series these days because they're mostly boring. heh It's now on Amazon Prime, 5th season is running now and will soon head for a 6th season next year.

In The Expanse, there are a lot of brilliant stuffs for a TV sci-fi show that incorporated a lot of near realistic stuffs. It take its time and you need to really pay attention, i.e., watch every scene & listen to all the dialogues from top to bottom, no fast forwarding or skipping. It isn't that too convoluted like the 'Dark' tv series. lol

First season of The Expanse is like two separate stories in one - one is like a detective story and the other is a story of survival, each happening over a vast distance of the solar system. And a lot of great, memorable characters.
