Who’s to say he didn’t? It’s not like Henry is the type to reveal that.

If he was at odds with Snyder over it we would have heard about it by now. That production leaked like a sieve.

You don’t have to be at odds to have differing opinions. I’m sure he, like many actors, discussed the role with Snyder. And, like many actors, opted to follow his director’s vision.

All the ******ing NWH is getting from almost all corners is honestly getting kinda obnoxious and annoying. All this talk about being waitlisted to get tickets and sites crashing, and I got mine no problem on day one from the AMC website. Maybe I'm one of the lucky few, so I'm a bit surprised at all the hype due to the difficulty of getting a ticket I guess. I'm especially salty that it also hogged all the Dolby screens to all 7 AMC theaters I can reasonable from the Matrix and I had to settle for fake IMAX instead

Well then I opt to not care what he wants out of the character now. :o I love his portrayal (the 1.5 movies he was allowed to actually be the character) but it is not the end all be all and there are plenty out there that can do it as well or better.

I liken it to Brosnan Bond films...Pierce is awesome and him as Bond made all of the sense in the world and he did the best he could with some really awful scripts and directions. (outside of Goldeneye which is fantastic!) The best thing that happened though was replacing him and I wouldn't really care what he has to say about the direction Bond should have gone in or should go in now.

Do I think Henry has a great Superman film in him...damned right I do. He is not the greatest actor in the world but he definitely had the chops to pull it off. If all eyes weren't on comic films because of the MCU likely they could get away with keeping him since most people wouldn't notice or care. Unfortunately Di$ney's comic film factory has made that impossible and the SnyderCutNuts have made it even worse. There is NO WAY a MOS 2 could be made without it being connected by the audience to the Snyder films. It will be hamstrung with critics and ticket buyers from the word jump no matter how much PR they do saying otherwise. The ultimate proof of this is Ben Affleck...the man spits on the street and it is somehow connected to Batman and restoring the Snyderverse.

It is obvious WB wants to shed as much of the Snyder bad juju as possible and bringing back Henry will not only prevent that but make it ten times worse.

the batman is the one cbm i am most hyped for as of now.

I feel like I sent you down a path. Wasn’t my intention. Apologies there.

I am completely indifferent on Henry returning at this stage. I’ll certainly be happy for him if he gets another shot, but I have no skin in the game anymore.

I know folks have given WB a lot of grief about the day and date thing. But with my wife’s (and likely my own) positive test result, I am really glad I can at least watch the new Matrix safely at home. Even if we’re healthy and negative by the time it hits theaters, I still might just stay home. Not worth the risk.

I honestly don't know if drinking lots of water and those awful green liquids had any real impact on us at all, but sure as hell felt better days after... Stay safe breh.

Thank you! We’re okay. Feels like a cold. It’s the boredom and separation that’s hitting us hard. Can’t hug or anything. I gotta wave at her ass from across the room like she’s someone from high school that I don’t actually wanna talk to lol.

My buddy just got over it (and was at our house but thankfully we were both negative) and he had a couple rough days but got over it fast. Totally get not wanting to risk a theater run! I only go to films during the day when there is like 4 people in the theater and still wear my mask despite being boosted.

Good luck!

I'm on episode 3 of S2 Witcher. They've done such a better job with the production value. I'm impressed.

Hope it stays minor for ya and that you both get better really soon!
