The Winter Soldier Love Interest for Captain America II - Part 1

Colleagues, sure, but they didn't show them having the kind of close rapport and kinship Steve and Natasha will have in the movie, except for Natasha and Clint... And guess what people think of those two colleagues.

Basically, it'd be like if CATFA was the same, and Steve and Peggy had all those scenes they had, but instead of promising to dance after the war, Steve sets his eyes on Pvt. Lorraine.

It sounds like though that, if anything else, Steve and Natasha may just become lovers, maybe not technically a couple, but lovers as a result of the amount of time that they end up spending with each other in this film.

Friends with benefits?

BW has no problem with sex, just love. Remember, love is for children. Seriously though, a Steve/Natasha romance could work. They're both outsiders who are haunted by their pasts (for different reasons). They could teach and learn from each other. One thing leads to another and they spend a long sweaty night together that turns into something more, it could be interesting.

I think we might see a love triangle between Cap, Widow & Sharon. Cap chooses Sharon at the end & then Widow gets Bucky in Cap 3.

Ermmm.....

That was mostly a joke, I though the rest of the post made that clear, sorry. Maybe it starts as a mere hook up and becomes something much more over time (it happens in real life all the time).

Hmm...I don't know. I feel like Marvel has already angered a lot of the hard core fans a lot in Phase 2. :funny:

It's not like Cap/BW as a couple would be completely unprecedented (it's been done before in other media). Also, it could make for interesting character work, they could teach each other and learn from each other. They're both outsiders to the world at large, so they have that in common.

I meant Cap just hooking up with a woman.

Sharon/Bernie/Diamondback/Peggy/BW/Scarlet Witch. Steve has had his fair share of the opposite sex

which is ironic considering that he's still viewed as a virgin in the MCU.lol

In the video of the panel, Feige introduces each member of the cast at a time, and he introduces Emily VanCamp as "Agent 13, AKA Sharon Carter"

And I like that they've pretty much confirmed her as Sharon, since it means we won't have people wild mass guessing that she's someone else.

Frees us up to WMGuess what she, of all of the cast, has to keep tight lips.

Actually, I'd be okay either way, with a brief "interlude" between BW and Cap or if they just remained friends. No matter what, it seems that the movie might still be developing Steve and Sharon, but it won't be some insta-romance, which is what I really didn't want to see. I want them to take their time and develop Sharon's character better, flesh her out before she starts anything with Steve.

EVC had some good rapport with Mackie and Grillo. Wonder if she did any work with them?

I didn't say that they were hook ups. I was pointing out that Steve has dated multiple women since he came back, so him seeing BW shouldn't really be an issue.

Really the Cap/Widow romance was too hard to pass up considering the leads chemistry and the fact that this is a Hollywood flick. People want to see Cap and Widow not Widow and the bad guy.

And how different they are yet how similar they are at the same time. It really does almost write itself.

Indeed. Almost a no brainer, I'm surprised how we didn't pick up on this when Scarjo was announced as part of the cast.
