hes strong compared to a regular person, not to a superhero. the strength of a baby to a fully grown man is closer then Cap to Iron Man or Luke Cage

Cap can lift several hundred pounds. Like 800 or something.

Cage can lift at least 25 tons.

Thor and Hulk -- at least 100 tons

Iron Man--not sure but I know he is stronger than Cage, not as strong as Thor and Hulk.

So Basically:

That Marvel-grade super soldier serum is powered up or down constantly, depending on the character or the writer. There are characters that have had it used on them that can rival Spider-Man in strength, and others that just have increased reflexes, but still can't lift anything above their own body weight.

Didn't realize we were having a disagreement. You said you were confused about the different strength levels and I explained them. Do you read Marvel comics?

Truth be told, not really, I do read X-men, and have a bunch of Captain America comics I inherited, I just haven't read them yet.

Ok cap can hold his own wit hulk... for on cap COULD land a couple of punches on hulk and hurt him.... but other than that he has agility and strategy... cap could eventually take down the hulk outsmarting him...hulk will get back up but all I'm saying is cap "could" handle the hulk

I collect hulk and cap comics so I kno a thing or two and bullets aren't punches... plus cap still has his shield and he uses that VERY strategicly....cap can hurt him

Uh...exactly. If I punch you in the face you will still be alive. If I shoot you in the face you won't. If bullets bounce of his skin you think a punch will hurt him? Come on. Cap can't hurt the Hulk by punching him.

Anybody can beat anybody in comics, of course. So someone can write a story about Cap beating Hulk. But it won't be because he punched him out.
