I can see Ving Rhames, but not Tyrese. Tyrese looks too young for the role. When I think of Luke Cage I think of a grown man, not some baby face actor. Maybe even Frederick Williamson, if they could make him look a little younger and healthy.

Luke Cage is in his 20's, you can't keep suggesting these old ass black dudes for the role. You wouldn't suggest Jack Nicholson for Captain America, would you? Just because they're black don't make them right for the role.

Tyrese would be the best choice. In the comics Luke is 6"6. I think it would be better to have somebody that's around 6"2 or 6'3 becuase it would look funny to me seeing Luke fight villians and he's a gaint compare to them.

Also, Luke Cage is a Black former gangster who speaks urban slang. He's not well known and a few years ago Avi Arad said Cage will be made hardcore enough to get an R rating. So in that case, they have to cast a well known actor to bring in a bigger audience. And Tyrese is more known then some of those other actors.

I say Terry Crews from Everyone hates Chris. If not him, then Henry Simmons. Dudes looks exactly like Luke Cage in Secret Wars. But Crews is my first choice cuase I know he'd do it in a heartbeat. Tyrese is a horrible choice for Luke Cage.

Yeah Crews is VERY underrated as an actor. I can't believe they'd want Tyrese for Cage. Dude is a walking stereotype. If he played him, I wouldnt' spend a dime on the movie and that's the first for me and a Marvel movie.

Thing is, Luke want have a trilogy. It's probably one and done. Crews doesn't look THAT old.

But truthfully, I'd rather see a Heroes for Hire tv show. Marvel shouldn't bring all their properties to the big screen. Why not try to dominate the small screen with some live action shows. The one show they had in the past decade was Blade and it was Spike's highest rated show, only the cost was what cost it from a longer run.

Exactly. If they need a big star in it they can get a couple in the supporting cast and as the villain.

Luke Cage can't have a trilogy. Even Iron Man can't.

If a movie makes money...they will make sequels. If Blade can have a trilogy, so can Cage. And Iron Man...they are signed on for sequels, dude.
