M. Night Shyamalan's GLASS

Part of me wants every writer-director to do his own thing. But sometimes something like Glass comes along and I'm like "well, he clearly is a good writer, but he could've used some help too". I did like that the stakes and the overall feel was kept smaller though.
 
I really blame the movies marketing for most of the film’s faults, which had to have been intentional. We’re made to think this is building to some epic showdown but in reality, it’s seeing Elijah’s original plan of showing the world people like him exist all along. The most frustrating part is how Willis’ character is dealt with.
 
Said it at the time Shyamalan should have either done another movie in between or took another pass at the script.
 
I think it probably was more of a budget thing.

Blumhouse probably said, look you can make this movie but you can only afford the first half of the script so no big showdown. And he was like, well I’ll probably never get the chance to ever to do this again, so let’s go!
