I'm digging the cast, by why Alba? I'm willing to bet that she'll be almost as bad in this as Eva Mendes was in Desperado 3.

And i'm pretty stoked to see Steven Segal in this. He's not the worlds greatest actor but his straight to dvd movies still kick ass.

I though Eva was terrible actually. Why Rodriguez picked Alba is beyond me. Hell, even Blade 2's Leonor Varela is better than Alba. She'd have made a better pick for the Law Enforcement role. Maybe Alba will surprise me.I hope to god there's not one of her panty scenes in there though...

It's a cheesy grindhouse flick, I don't think good acting is anyone's priority. She just needs to be hot, which she's got in spades.

Just cause its an action film is no reason to not use capable performers. I mean Trejo's no Oscar winner but he has a niche that works good.
