I just realised that the roles/characters mentioned/announced in the AICN article weren't even in the trailer. Maybe.

Luz definitely wasn't. Julio could be the bald betrayer and Senator McLaughlin could be Jeff Fahey's character, but I think McLaughlin is more likely the senator (the guy in the limo?) who Machete is hired to kill. I really hope it's that way, 'cause I want Fahey to be in this!

Hope this doesn't end up like Once Upon a Time or Terror and has a confusing ass plot that's hard to follow. Rodriguez tends to overcomplicate the story sometimes.

Too many subplots... I couldn't follow Once Upon a Time. As far as Terror, I only sat through that garbage once, but the whole backstory with the virus and all confused me. I guess I am slow.
