Open in a new tab for it's full glory.
Nice.

As interest builds in the global release of Mad Max: Fury Road next month, there are plans behind the scenes for what could be a spectacular Australian premiere. The filmmakers hope to get permission for a parade of the movie's post-apocalyptic vehicles down Sydney's George Street, with drivers and crew wearing costumes from the movie.

There's literally nothing I've seen about this movie that doesn't scream "awesome".

This is my most anticipated film for this summer! I've always been a huge fan of the franchise, so I am super excited. I'm even more excited for this that I am of Avengers AOU.

I can't wait for this sucker! This is my most anticipated film of the Summer as well!!

Ohhhhhhh....the awesomeness of Mad Max's crazy world is upon us once again!

A coworker and I just had a thought. How about George Miller working with Quentin Tarantino on the screenplay and letting Tarantino direct the sequel(s)??

Wow!! :wow: :slash::tmm:

But why? Miller's a fine and influential director himself.

I love the first Mad Max, though. I love that it was firmly in the middle ground between the regular, everyday world and the S&M post-apocalypse world that we see in the other movies. It hasn't totally gone to s*** yet, but there's obviously something off.

Plus, Toecutter.

This!

Whenever I catch the orginal trilogy of Max films...I still stop what I'm doing to watch them or record so I can finish later at night.

The vision and utter raw gritty feel still stand the test of time for me!

Yeah considering what I am seeing here, why would anyone else want someone else for the potential sequels?

We always have though. Lucas only directed one out of the original trilogy films.

Like I said...seeing Tarantino do one of these new Max films would be interesting. Especially since Death Proof was a semi ode to the original Mad Max films.

That's kind of my thing with it though, we know what Tarantino car action looks like.

Miller also only directed the action scenes in that.

Seeing Tarantino attack the characters and dialoge of Max's world would be the most interesting part with guidance from Miller on certain action scenes of course.
