I absolutely can’t wait for the Jean DeWolff movie next.

 

This is just hilarious. For a moment I actually believed they were stepping in the right direction. Who wants this movie? Anyone?

Love or hate MCU Spider-Man, this is plain wrong.

 

IF Sony wants to get multiple properties going they should focus on their TV and animated first and foremost as theatrical will be tough without some kind of revelation Peter's in an alternate reality after returning to earth Post-Endgame which I think would be very difficult seeing as how FFH tied into Endgame so much.

Except this is likely based on Julia Carpenter, the former Arachne. Blind single mom with super-senses, super strength, psionic webs and astral projection? That sounds like it could actually work. She's a former Avenger and has had at least one miniseries to her name.

 

Helen Mirren or Meryl Streep for Madame Web!

 

If you get talented people to work on it, sure. But this is Sony we're talking about here. And tell me, does anyone in the general audience know who Madame Web is or really care? If you were going to make a spin-off using Spider-Man characters, she should be at the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah, uh... not to rain on your parade, but those fan castings might be just a little bit far-fetched. ^^'

Nah, save her for the eventual Aunt Carnage spin-off.

 

Won't the general audience think that with that name, Madame Web might be about the head of a brothel? It doesn't exactly sound kid friendly. Then they'll be even more disappointed when she turns out to be a very old madame.

And people are hardly going to think she's french and that her name is Madame Webb (Mrs Webb in English), who might be the mother or wife of Marc Webb.

 

How about.... Rose Leslie for Julia Carpenter?

And Nightwatch was the real bottom of the barrel idea. Spike Lee's involvement was the only thing which made me interested in that. Jackpot didn't even have an A-list director. I can guarantee you that there are characters who are far less Interesting than Julia.

 

And some sort of armored version of this costume, plz

I can't wait for Freak the movie.

Maybe make him the villain in the Aunt May spinoff, and make his enemy officer Vin Gonzalez, someone later accused of a being part in a police conspiracy to make Freaks to counter other freaks.

To be fair, who asked for the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie? Or one for Eternals? Or even something as simple as Road to Perdition?

I still want to watch that Spawn movie you just mentioned, whenever I'm reminded of it, until I forget it's a thing two minutes after I read about it happening.

 

Yeah. My point is that Julia Carpenter is actually a character with potential. Ant-Man was honestly an incredibly obscure character as was Jessica Jones. Who knew that both of them would develop fanbases?

Black Cat and Silver Sable are also characters who people actually recognize. I'm wondering why Morbius is a thing but Jared Leto has me interested. Sony also won an Oscar for Spider-Verse.

 

I think they intend to make a live action Maximum Carnage, hopefully without Doppleganger and Demogoblin. Most of the characters announced to have movies were involved in that event.

 

Doppleganger will almost certainly appear in the Doctor Strange sequel since Spider-Man is expected to appear there. You can't do the multiverse without him.

 

That will be hokey and weird, but I want to know what gives him the right to walk through the portal.
