I was checking out X-Men: Omega again, the last time Apocalypse was truly badass. At the end, Magneto defeats him by ripping the A-man in two. Eric then says: "We were the mightiest of our race, Apocalypse. Suppose we'd been on the same side. What a world that would have been."

Cut to a while later, in House of M. Magneto and Apocalypse are ON THE SAME SIDE. And sure enough, what a world it was. Apocalypse was a good guy! (Then it went away, taking 99% of the world's mutant powers with it).

Uh... yeah, what Havok said.

Apocalypse was in HoM?

wait...wait...WAS Apocalypse in HoM???

I read the main House of M mini and the Cable/Deadpool tie-ins, neither of which had Apocalypse, far as I can remember. And I'd say I'm 100% sure. C/D had a HoM Sinister, but not Apocalypse.

As for the House of M world, mister original poster, it was hardly "what a world" material. At least not in the same way AoA Magneto meant it. HoM was, essentially, a gentler version of the world portrayed in the AoA, as Magneto didn't have to wage murderous conquest to attain it. His daughter made it such. But humans were still the subjugated minority living in what was, for lack of a better term, a police state.

They just didn't get to attend the colorful cullings put on by Apocalypse and Son.

Yeah he was a trusted lieutenant of Magneto.

I think in the Black Panther crossover issues, Magneto ordered Big A to kill BP (who had also killed Sabretooth). Apocalypse was apparently done in by Black Bolt, who told him to "die" at point blank range. Ouch.

I agree with this statement full heartedly.

What magneto wanted in AoA was a untopia of mutual coexsitance. And in HoM it was a total AoA Apocalypse world just with a fancier sky line, and a few less casualties.
