This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]510609[/split]
Trump's popularity within the Republican Party seems to indicate that this is the prevailing opinion among the party's majority. Of course, you also have Trump using the "He picks the Bible up with one hand, puts it down, and starts lying," in reference to Cruz. You could take that as a sign of moderation, I suppose, given that what Trump spits is more focused toward economics and foreign policy-ish.
Something else I've seen at the counter-protests is the thing about Trump discriminating against blacks. I know he did the Wall thing with the illegal immigrants, the keeping an eye on terrorists' families, and his temporary suspension of whatever for Muslims - what did he say about the black community?
School keeps me busy - so most of what I know of Trump's platform and the counter-protests comes from the headlines.
On the eve of the Wisconsin primaries, top Republicans are becoming increasingly vocal about their long-held belief that Speaker Paul Ryan will wind up as the nominee, perhaps on the fourth ballot at a chaotic Cleveland convention.
One of the nation's best-wired Republicans, with an enviable prediction record for this cycle, sees a 60 percent chance of a convention deadlock and a 90 percent chance that delegates turn to Ryan ergo, a 54 percent chance that Ryan, who'll start the third week of July as chairman of the Republican National Convention, will end it as the nominee.

So guys, whats the sweet and short update on Trump and the election in general now? Haven't been on this side of the board since BvS's release, and don't really feel like reading everything from part 4.
Zack Snyder is now running in the Republican primaries. He already has more delegates than Kasich.
Top Republicans talking up Paul Ryan as nominee

Man American politics is dumb. The guy who isn't even running for the past few months or in any of the current debates might get in as the nominee?
What's the point of doing any of it then?

Well this is what happens when you spend years basing your party around racism, homophobia and all around bigotry. At some point it gets completely out of control and you have to reign that crap in.Man American politics is dumb. So, essentially a BIG build up, & high expectations, only to have it come crashing down later? Gotcha!!
Honestly this is what I think.
People are witnessing a "soft" coup in the United States. Trump wouldn't have even made it this far or have turned into such a phenom if it weren't being backed by elements of the "elite/TPTB/establishment etc". This element has decided that the current path of the U.S isn't beneficial in direct financial form for most citizens of the U.S and that adopting a more protectionist/isolationist view with a ridiculously strong military to be the next logical step for the world today.
That's why we're seeing the level of focus on Trump literally be 24/7 on every news station in the American airwaves. When has someone presented a big enough shake up to this system like Trump has in the presidential field.
Yes, we've had our share of crazy election but I have never seen every single facet of the American and globalist power structure come out and work to trump a single man.
Never.
****ing hell your politics are ****ed up.

Are you expecting an argument? This is what happens when money rules politics.
To paraphrase The Joker "This country needs an enema".

Money has always ruled politics. from the days of Ancient Athens to Republican Rome, to the Italian Republican States nd finally to Today. The rich have always ruled.
