What boggles my mind is people meaning the haters and non supporters know trump is trolling them and screwing with them and yet they continue to play into it.

I would certainly hold Trump accountable for tweets that came from him. Some of those seem satirical and for entertainment, and others just seem stupid.

On the other hand, I would not attribute stories that I find out are 2nd hand info as being 100% said by Trump. There are stories and crazy quotes of other politicians that are 2nd hand and many may be untrue as well.

That's where seeing an official real tweet, video/audio, come in to play for accuracy of what someone said. Unless the source is that actual person, it's very hard to attribute everything from 2nd hand info as unfortunately people embellish or flat out make lies.

The funny thing is Trump is killing his one salable asset, his name. Look at the hotels and resorts with his name on it. They are losing business. If his name is devalued, he won't be making money off it anymore..

He has totally said some things on camera that have made some heads turn. At the same time I saw many used "quotes" of his, (you probably know which ones I mean) that turned out to be 2nd hand info with no proof of being said. That's kind of irresponsible. I know those who are pro Trump or pro Hillary may like to build a case against the competition. Let's build a case for why someone is the wrong choice from their actual words we know they said. This constant attributing of words or stories against various politicians just to try and get your side ahead, seems a bit disingenuous.

Absolutely. For the record I don't like when Trump himself regurgitates stories against his opposition that don't pass the fact check list either. I can't keep track of the times he has used some silly 2nd hand info for a supposed source as if fact, when some of it was likely pure speculative garbage. I tend to view it as entertainment and not sure he even believes half that stuff himself, but trying to see what sticks isn't exactly the highest honored way to try and become President.

I'm just referring to some of the 2nd hand stories of stuff he said that don't actually have proof of coming from him. The smear politics on all sides is an issue for sure. There are plenty of actual things Trump has actually said on camera to use, but piling on the 2nd hand quotes I've seen some doing is irresponsible.
