This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]517071[/split]
What happens when you find all of this in one person? When a group of people...no matter who they are....it happens to the best and worst of people, but when that group feels disenfranchised, silenced, and weak....and then you throw in a group that are simply racist, bigoted, misogynistic jerks, and then you throw in a few that are just flat ignorant and loved The Apprentice....you have a group that will buy ANYTHING the man says.
You mean the obsession with stopping an authoritarian, neo fascist and his theocratic running mate from stepping into the white house.
And just as a disclaimer: This is me being REALLY, REALLY patient....as I read through the Clinton thread.
Why do people buy it when he says he is just going to fix something? He doesn't usually say how, and even if he does, it is apparently worse then what was there before.
Just re-title this "The Hate Donald Trump Thread" because that's all its good for.

Do you actually listen to Trump speak? Please! You'd be saying the same thing if Rand Paul was the nominee.

They make him the Republican candidate for President?

I agree with the set in mentality. But then there is the denial here, which is scary. Like someone will say I am voting for Trump because I agree with him. But then they can never give specifics on what they agree with, and then separate themselves from a good portion of what he said or just deny he did it. Then they yeah about Hillary.People not worrying about how he'll fix things is akin to the other side brushing off the corruption being uncovered there. It's either "my side" wins or it loses. "My side" has been established long ago by most. That's why Bernie got in line behind Hillary and it's why the GOP has caved to Trump. What each side is selling is a moot point. The chances of Roe v Wade being overturned are slim at best. Yet abortion is still a topic for many. The chances that Obergefell v. Hodges being overturned is even slimmer, yet that is still a concern to many. There are a ton of one issue voters out there and will side with the party that supports their point of view. In an ideal world, these partisan citizens would be balanced equally left and right which allows the moderate independents to make the selection based on experience, character, and other important qualities that make a President. May the best person win. In this election, it's harder than usual to identify the "best person". How in the hell has Hillary found her self tied with Donald Trump? It's really unbelievable.
I agree with the set in mentality. But then there is the denial here, which is scary. The Hilary situation is ugly politics. Both from her people, Democrats and the Republicans. Even when she was cleared of criminal wrong doing, they tried to kill her on the way out.
How many scandals about her are made up though? I agree she is a weak candidate. Part of it is definitely her fault. But a lot of it isn't. A lot of it is insane conspiracy, which seems more effective then Trump's actual words. If she wants to stop being accused of things, she should stop finding herself in the middle of scandals. People are generally willing to elect a salesman just to get someone in there that might not be bought and paid for. That's where we are in politics.

I have asked several times throughout the history of this thread for people to give us well thought out reasons for voting for Trump. List those reasons and the policies that he has discussed to bring solutions to the issues one might see as a problem, therefore voting for him, or the policies that he has put forth that they really like, and what are his solutions put forth in those policies. YET, I have seen no one speak of these things in favor of him.
Those that dislike him however, have given a plethora of examples (in his own words) to back up their dislike and their reasons for not voting for him).
The same has been done in the Clinton thread, the only difference, people have actually discussed specific policy that she has put forth, and talked about why they will vote for her....AND others have given PLENTY of reasons why they will not vote for her.....should we call that thread the "Hate Hillary Clinton Thread"????? no, it is discussion of the candidate, if the discussion tends to be skewed more towards the negative....well, then once again, as someone that sees that as a problem, then throw some positive about the candidate into the thread.![]()
Did she murder Vince Foster? Is she responsible for Benghazi? People want her locked up for something they don't even understand or purposely muddle.I just listed 22 in the Wikilinks thread off the top of my head. Certainly NOT made up. The Clinton's have copped the "gate" term from Nixon.
Did she murder Vince Foster?
that entire post does look like a chain letter... one of those that you send to each person and they have to fill in the next line...
