The camera pans around a 19 year old black man on a worn couch watching TV, the apartment he is in is crammed full of junk and what looks like makeshift armours.
The camera focuses on the TV which is showing a news report about the newly formed Avengers and their recent victory (which would be dependant on the Avengers film).
The camera focuses on the young man's eyes, "Yeah you guys may take care of the big bads but who the hell looks after us?"
The camera shoots out the window to a street with burning cars and boarded up windows. A gun shot rings out followed by screams.
Camera goes back to the young man called Dwayne. Focusing on his eyes again. He puts a helmet on his head.
Cut to the outside of the building a few floors up. A window smashes as Dwayne dressed in black and red armour leaps through it.
Cut to alleyway, Dwayne is running towards the source of the gun shot. He arrives in an open area surrounded by a few warehouses. It is empty.
A voice echo's out "We're sick of you boy, interfering any chance you get! Who the hell do you think you are? IRON MAN!?!?"
The man laughs. He is stood on the warehouse roof. Other laughing come from around Dwayne.
"Let's finish this boys!"
The sound of guns clicking in heard as around 50 gang members appear all over surrounding Dwayne.
Camera focuses on Dwayne. "****."
A group of the public have gathered at a wire fence, they are whispering and awaiting a gruesome showdown. The camera focuses on a young red headed woman who after eyeing the situation runs off.
Camera goes back to the warehouses.
"Any last words?"
"Get on with it." replies Dwayne.
At that moment a explosion occurs behind a group of the gang members.
The camera focuses on a silhouette floating in the sky, the features blocked by the sun behind. "RUN" the voice yells.
The silhouette then flies off attacking other members of the gang. Dwayne takes this opportunity and starts attack other gang members.
A short fight takes place and the two are victorious. Dwayne yells at the figure to come down so he can offer his thanks. As the figure approaches we see it is a young red headed woman dressed in a tight yellow and black suit with a flame patterned mask over part of her face.
"Thanks for the save, I really appreciate it. What's your name?"
"It's no problem and I get called Firestar."
"I'm Night Thrasher. 'Get called'? By who? Are you in a team!?"
At that moment a young man dressed in a blue and white with a cape arrives from the sky. He lands near Firestar.
"Sorry I'm late Firestar! I only just got your message!"
Firestar hugs the new arrival "I'm so glad you are hear Vaa.. Marvel Boy."
Dwayne aka Night Thrasher looks at them confused. "Who the hell are you?"
Marvel Boy replies "We're Superheroes!" with a cheesy grin.
The film would then go on to reveal other parts of the film.
We see Dwayne in his apartment with Marvel Boy and Firestar, Dwayne looks intense as do the others. "I've got an idea."
Dwayne and the team are shown breaking into a heavily guarded area. Troops with S.H.I.E.L.D outfits on patrol the area.
They are shown in a room hacking into a computer database and downloading information on other powered people.
They are shown escaping S.H.I.E.L.D, NOT hurting any of them but just trying to avoid them, possibly flying off.
They are shown choosing candidates from the list.
'Richard Rider'

They are all students at local schools/colleges.
Then there is a final montage of flashing images. Of each character with their costumes torn and they are bleeding etc...
The final shot is of two other people turning there backs on the defeated heroes and disappearing into the shadows. These two villains would be Silhouette and Midnight's Fire.
'The New Warriors'
That would end the short film.
The film would pretty much be about Night Thrasher being inspired by the Avengers to create a team to help fight low level crime. He wants the area he lives in to be free of gang war. The gang are responsible for the villains of the story who set out to stop the team of inexperienced fighters.
The film would end with Richard Rider receiving a call from Xandar and him leaving to investigate. Namorita leaving for Atlantis and Night Thrasher taking a break. The sequel of the film if it got made based on this pitch would revolved around Firestar and the newly named Justice taking on new members.
Obviously it would be a great basis for a Nova film to take place. The first part of the film could be Nova recalling his origins as he files to Xandar and the second part could be dealing with Xandar.
I understand Silhouette is a superhero but i think for the sake of the film it would be interesting to have her and her brother as the villains.
