MAKING HISTORY (single camera)
STUDIO: 20th Century Fox TV
TEAM: Julius Sharpe (w, ep), Phil Lord (ep), Chris Miller (ep)
LOGLINE: Three friends find a way to travel through time for truth, justice and riches, which complicates their lives in 2016. They visit some of the greatest moments of the past as they try to resolve their personal problems, while history and pop culture comically collide.
CAST: Adam Pally, Leighton Meester, Yassir Lester
Happy Endings cast member = I need this show to go for at least 10 seasons. The rest is just icing on the cake. :o

Between the time travel premise and Leighton Meester being so pretty, I'll probably have to check this out.

Interesting, kind of like Blackadder meets Sliders meets New Girl.

The bit in the synopsis about pop culture makes me hope there's an episode where they accidentally bring all four Beatles to the present day with them.

Cast and premise is great, it is my most anticipated show of the fall.

Given the ratings of other Fox shows it may not be long for this world though.

Ooooh I love the premise, this has big potential!

When John Lennon discovers their music has inspired Nickelback, he travels back to 1980 to shoot himself and frame Mark Chapman.

There sure are a lot of new time travel shows lately.

Anyway, this looks funny.

(Finally) premieres tonight. 8:30.

This is one of the good ones.

Yeah, as pilots go, this was a pretty decent start. And if it only gets better from here, then hell yes.

Nonetheless, too much s*** on tonight, I'll have to watch tomorrow.

Will Adam Pally ever play a character who is hard-working, honest and sober? :funny:

2 episodes in, I like it so far, but time travel/ alternate dimension type stuff has always been right up my alley.

Episode 2 was a huge improvement on the pilot.

RIP Davey.

Liked the first two episodes. Not spectacular yet, but I like it fair enough. It's like spending time in only the story/flashback sections of Drunk History.

For those who were wondering, Sawyer died of pure ecstasy at about minute 20 of this episode. RIP. :csad:

What, Pally as Cher? Meh. As bearded queens go, I've seen better. :o

I figured that Adam Pally A) playing a straight man, and B) dressed as Cher, would make you start speaking in tongues or something.

I believe I read they go back to the '90s tonight.

The more I watch of this, the more I love that it's just a comedy Timeless, right down to the group dynamic: the historian (Chris/Lucy), the one with the time machine/the ability to pilot it (Dan/Rufus) and the hot one (Leighton Meester/Anakin from Clone Wars).

Yeah, it's just so over the top wacky that I can't not love it.

watching the Chicago when they pose as gangsters to win money for Deb's ice cream store in the future

This is back on tonight. Can't imagine why they thought it'd be a good idea to go on a multi-week break only, like, four episodes in, but...
