Man banned from coffee shop for complaining.

Well, it was either ban him, or listen to him complain about the urine content of his next cup.

Hahaha! As someone who once worked at Tim Horton's and knows how obnoxious some people can be about their coffee, I think`this is hilarious!

"Whatever happened to 'the customer is always right'" = I want to be an obnoxious ******* and complain about everything until I'm given my orders to me for free.

Pretty much what Nell said. People ask why bad customer service happens everywhere nowadays? Idiots like this guy.

:woot:

I can imagine the guy serving the teas and coffees: Sir, would you like to try our new "lemon flavored" Chai drink? It's. . . . free.

The customer isn't always right. In fact, I've found they're rarely right.

Funny that the guy wants his ban overturned....why, so he can go back and have them piss in his next cup?

I agree with Bamfer. my friend worked at hipster central, Barnes and Noble, and they had a really nice coffee shop in there. I'd go there, grab whatever comic was just released, get some free coffee and watch as my friend held back all his anger.

My question is, if every time you go, the coffee is bad, why do you keep going there?

"Whatever happened to 'the customer is always right'" = I want to be an obnoxious ******* and complain about everything until I'm given my orders to me for free.

That is exactly what that phrase translates to these days.

So if I understand this story correctly, this man is suing a cafe so he can continue to buy coffee he doesn't even like?

Don't you Canadians have some sort of penalty the courts throw on people who file frivolous law suits?

If I ever go to Canada and it's not exactly like Strange Brew... I will be disappoint.

Well... the coffee may be bad, but where else could he go to find a cup of the rarest and most exotic beverage in the world...?

Because lets face it... you can't get coffee just anywhere...

Just petrol statons, Starbucks, Gloria Jeans, Krispy Kreme's, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Subway, small independent coffee shops, your corner stat, convenience stores, the vending machines which are appearing more at major train and bus stations...

My grandma complains a lot too. She can't go to any restaurant without complaining about something. When we get our food she will check what everyone got to make sure it's right. If you ordered a burger with no pickles and there are pickles on the burger it's not sufficient to just take them off- she takes it back up to the counter and demands a new burger and a refund. If the fry container isn't completely full she'll take it back to the counter and make them fill it until fries are falling out all over the place. She's pretty stingy with tips at nicer restaurants too, if the waiter or waitress makes a mistake or doesn't keep her glass more than half full she doesn't want to leave a tip, and if you try to leave a tip she'll pick it up and hand it back to you. You just have to wait until she leaves the building then go back and leave a tip, and even then she knows what you did and she'll complain all the way home. I don't think she's worked a day in her life but she sure is adamant about everyone else doing their jobs to perfection.

Whew, now that I got all of that off my chest I could go for some coffee.

I hope you're not trying to get us to like your grandma.

Because I don't.
