Man Looses $127,000,000, Wont Pay, sues the casino

He needs to pay up and learn his lesson for next time. But he won't anyway.

I didn't read all of thr article because I quickly got distracted and grew bored. But I say it's the casinos fault to a degree. They should cut off people who are high or drunk.

He should have to pay up. Hiding behind your addictions doesn't take away your responsibility.

He should have to pay up but the casino should of stopped him way before it hit the 100 million mark.

I'm sure he'll be made an offer he can't refuse.

I saw his face and it made me want to punch it. I didn't read the article after that. What an idiot.

Casinos are able to cut people off, but it's good business not to. No one made him drink or made him gamble they facilitated both of those things though, that's what their business is. This would be like someone suing Hallmark for having to read their ****** cards.

If you have a gambling problem or an alcohol problem do not go to casinos. It's not their job to be responsible for you.

Now that's an idea.

This here. Personal responsibility people.

You drank and took painkillers? That's your fault. You gambled $1 billion and lost $127 million? That's your fault.

Be more responsible.

Feel no sympathy for this guy. That is until Joe Pesci comes after him.

The casinos job is to get people drunk so they can play more.

Tonic water and a slice of lime. Like in the movie 21. Keeps people from asking you if you want a drink because they think you're already drinking.

The guy should have to pay up. Unfortunately the Casino will probably settle with him out of court just to get him to shut up and go away.

If he has the money he should pay up.

No one forced him to spend a year at the casinos.

Oriental Trading. Have you seen those catalogs? $24.99 for a dozen paper pieces of crap a four year old can make in an hour.

I remember ordering some crap out of Oriental Trading. Like those little styrofoam airplanes that would flip in the air. Fly Backs I think they were called.

Guess I've been living under a rock, I've never heard of Oriental Trading. Maybe this is a publicity stunt. Or maybe it should be.

you can blame the cainos for being *****ebags, but this man is responsible for his own actions regardless of how inebriated he was.

I'd say both are a little bit at fault. Of course the man is at fault for gambling but if the man won't pay, that means the casino extended him that kind of credit. I don't care if he's a super high roller, when he reaches double digit millions and hasn't payed you, you should probably close down his credit.

I have no sympathy for people richer than me who are not responsible with their money.

The money he just poured down the drain? That could be helping starving Africans or homeless people. Or better yet, lining MY pockets.

**** this muppet. I hope they send some bad ass enforcers after him.

Think of all the facial reconstructive surgery he could have with $127,000,000...

Well there is something very fishy here. Because at those levels casinos get proof of funds and if he had already lost $127 million then they would know that there could be a cash shortage problem. Having him sign markers for amounts he did not have while he was intoxicated is not necessarily binding given he could be unaware of what he was signing.

Plus I would have to agree that markers are more like loans then checks.
