I really liked them as well. Very classy and elegant.

For me personally, I wanted to like them. The concepts were nice and the shadowing was great. But Routh's long finger thumbs bugged me and I couldn't stop looking at them. They couldn't photoshop those?? And that takes me to the cape in both posters... Too much in the first one and totally off in the second. Not to mention fake it looks. How did they get hovering over earth to look so good and f**k up the cape? There are other things that irritated me but those had to do with the suit/boots and hair. Not going to mention it bc it has nothing to do with the poster. I saw potential there but it fell short for me.

Oh Mercy!! That's a hard one. Her "thumbs", so called, are atrocious. Anomalies those digits.

Actually, the second poster is from a cut scene in the movie. The scene was intended to be a homage to the part in Superman IV where Mariel Hemingway breathes in space, but Singer decided to remove it at the last minute.

haha i never noticed his finger thumbs. I for one loved the poster of him floating above earth. The dvd art is absolutely horrible tho.

Haha, I've doubted him ever since this:

How terrible. He looked so generic and fake since his very first release in the Superman costume. I get that it wasn't entirely Routh's fault but SR started off on a bad note and then went steadily downhill from there.

Can't wait to see Cavill in the suite!
