I loved his entrance it was hard to choose between him and PhoenixRisen, but I was facinated by Punk_joey's work and costumes.

I voted punk_joey too. His work was really realy good. I thought PhoenixRisen and LaSheBeasts were also very good.

The poll shuts in 3 days and then the winner will eb announced by me. The winner will then choose the theme for the next competition.

I was tied between flavio and wideawake, I love the simplicity of them both, they're not overcrowded and they fit in with previous posters. In the end I went with wideawake because its just that bit more crisp and i love the casting choices for psylocke and emma, although flavio's Gambit was very tempting

It's good to see more people getting involved.

now for my vote, I'm choosing the one that best represents the continuation of the movies and the poster that looks similar to the previous x-films. it's close between these two:

Flavio's:

I like the tone of it as a whole. I also like the manips of Gambit and Psylocke. However, some of the placement of the characters could've been better. Cyclops, Storm and Rogue all kinda look weird standing like that.

Wideawake's:

The execution of it all is great. I like how it looks familiar yet new at the same time. Plus using Maggie Q for Psylocke is not bad. I just don't really like the redish coloring.

Honorable mentions:

BB - As a poster, I don't really like it. But I love Chris Walken as Sinister. He looks...well, sinister.

masterj - It looks really good but I like it more as a desktop rather than a poster. Also, I think it be better if Jean and Emma switched places.

punk joey - I like the separate posters alot better. This one just seems too overcrowded. And I thought that mountain was Krakoa or something. Sinister's head looks like an eye. :woo

PhoenixRisen - I can tell that took alot of time to make. I give you an A+ for effort. There are some great manips there as well. My problem with it really is that theres just way too many people on it. Also, I don't like the casting choices for any of the new characters but you did a great job on them regardless.

I thought I had more time to finish my manip.

Isn't finished, of course, I have to clean some things, you know, improve the quality; I just posted a quick version for you can see it.

It was a difficult choice, but I voted for TheSpyAssasin.
My other favorites were those of punk_joey and masterj.

I think every manip brought something new and original to the table. I loved the work on the outfits punk_joey did, especially on those of Rogue and Emma, and masterj's use of red was very original too, since the X-Men movie posters are mostly blue/grayish. I also liked LaSheBeast's more teaser-like approach, and Flavio and Spark's posters look very professional, and almost like real movieposters.

As I mentioned above, I chose the color red because you don't see much red on an X-Men movieposter. I wanted something new, and I also like how it contrasts with the white and black.

the manip isn't finished, I added some things quickly, for can post it here now, so if I had more time, I'd improve it more. In fact, some things I'll change it, like the words, etc.

I have to admit LSB's and Flavio's took my breath away when I saw them. The simplicity and the non-overabundance of characters made them look so clean.

I gave my vote to LSB because I love the costume teaking and the risk taking.

For me honorable mentions would include Punk Joey and Phoenix Risen. I wish we could vote more than once.

I completely agree with you my entry was more of a wallpaper than a poster.

I voted for TheSpyAssassin. Even though it's not all that original, I think it's the cleanest and most professional looking. Nice work.

Honorable mentions to WideAwake. Love the use of red there. MasterJ, I like your poster a lot, it's very artsy and a real risk, but ultimately it felt more like wallpaper than a movie poster, at least to me. Also, punk joey, I love the individual manips you made, but the final product is just a little bit off. It's cluttered, and a couple of the characters (like Mystique) don't fit where you've put them. Still, a good effort.

Like some has said, some have more works than others, some are more original, some look overload, others looks like wallpapers, (masterj one is really great), there are tastes for everybody. I wish would have been one moer epic, I mean, like the posters of Star Wars, Lord of the rings, or Harry potter, but anyway, is a really nice competition (I wish to have been in it too, hehe, but anyway).

These are my favourites, by order:

1. punk_joe (loved your first version more, but this is great too, although a little overload)
2. flavioleubeau (it's like the X2 one, and that's what I wanted for the competition. Would have loved to see Emma in it, would have been better, but anyway, is great. Good job.
3. spark (is one of the most proffesional looking. Needed some retouches, but nice one)

I like others too, but for some reason or other, didn't include them in the list, like these:

- BB one (is really great, but only three characters)
- Masterj (you know, is a wallpaper, but a really great one, as I've said)
- Wideawake (needed Rogue, as I said, and something more, don't know what, but good job)
- And LaSheBeast (it needed more characters and a something more, like a big tittle, but is original and really great looking).

And then, special mention to Phoenixrisen, I think he/she did one of the hardest works. I think had many colours and a little overload, but is a really good job.

Congratulations to all of these, but like my list shows, my vote is for punk_joe.
