Mark Hamill is the Trickster (again)

Awesome. Hamill's trickster was one of the bright spots of the 90's series and felt very much like a prototype run for future take on the Joker

 

I see what your doing, CW!Flash. Tempting me into watching by bringing back Hamill.... Give me proper Wally (ginger& white and have him be adopted to avoid binging the New 52 White Man's Burden farce) then all of your Berlanti-New 52 sins will absolved and I'll start watching.

 

Or maybe you should just start watching anyways?

 

Awesome that Hamill's gonna be back on the Flash again, I wonder if he'll make guest appearances after the initial episode, in the comics the original Trickster was an occasional ally during Wally West's run so could we see something like that here?

This awesome news, with this and Tina McGee coming back its almost like the old series exist in this universe.

That just leaves Mirror Master, Top, Golden Glider, and Abra Kadabra.

I'm so psyched about this I think I'll bust out my 90s Flash DVD box set and watch the Trickster episodes.

 

I was joking about just this with a friend like a week ago. "Hamill should guest star and be in prison with JWS and he should be like, the father of the Trickster or something."

 

Start watching, or I'll stop watching Constantine.

 

The show was so long ago. I recall watching it as a kid, but my memory of the Trickster is more fuzzy. Tempted to watch it now.

From the sounds of it he may have scenes with JWS. Hope so as it would be good to see them interact again.

 

Not really, since these are new and different versions of the characters that just so happen to be played by the same actors (see the ABC re-imagining of V and the "nuBond" films Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall for other examples of this happening in recent memory).

That's true didn't think about the new Bond films.

Now what would have been interesting is if Gustin was cast as Wally instead so then the two series could have been linked.

Heck,Yeah! I hope he's as looney as ever! I get the sense that this is going to be sort of a glorified cameo. I mean,I hope at some point Mark gets to break out and menace Central City the way it should be menaced!

Maybe they can get the girl that played Prank back.She could be in her own loony cell Barry passes saying "I'm carrying the Trickster's child." Hamill can say "20 years and she's still saying that!What a drag!"

 

^ Only way that would work is if this version of the Trickster had a backstory that was similar to what happened to the character on the 90S show because, despite being played by the same actor, The CW-verse Trickster is a different character.
