Certainly longer than two damn years. I mean, people are still undergoing physical therapy for their injuries, and the court case only JUST had closing arguments yesterday.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. It does feel too soon and close to home since I grew up in the Boston area and a cousin of mine was hurt in the bombing.
There's plenty of material to make an interesting film. I knew it would happen eventually , but with the trial still going on it does feel weird.

Yeah I was just going to make a thread, before I saw this one, saying how I felt that this seems a bit too soon.

ALthough this doesnt have a release or anything,and with Wahlberg's crazy schedule this could not even come out for another 2-3 years. That movie World Trade Center came out in 06. So did United 93.

But as I said it does feel a bit weird/too soon especially with the trial still going on even

Apparently, the MPAA now has two versions of the so-called “green band” trailer. One is for “ALL audiences” and the other is for “APPROPRIATE audiences.” The latter allows for more PG-13 content (like the odd swear word).

I'm pretty sure Mark Wahlberg is probably gunning for the man who has played the most real life people. Vince Papale, Irish Mickey Ward, Danny Lugo, Marcus Lutrell, now his roles in Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day. What would've happened if Lutrell and Ward where on the Deepwater Horizon?
