The Amazing Spider-Man Marketing Ideas

Anyone have any ideas for marketing? Maybe they could do some viral marketing stuff with the Daily Bugle, and have the webshooters (if they decide to go with them) on display at Comic-Con this year.

Yeh, some viral would work--Bugle, Parker's blog, Oscorp website. Stuff like that.

Maybe people offering Daily Bugle or Oscorp internships at Comic-Con. Or they could string up webbing across buildings in some major cities. Just little things.

I like the "internship" idea thing. How about similar to how joker had people taking pictures of random letters on buildings i cities to spell something out, make it so jj is looking for freelancers to take certain pictures. People take the pictures and it ties into some sort of puzzle or game or contest. Oh, and obviously copies of the Daily Bugle handed out at comic shops and movies with articles about spidey, mysterious mutilated bodies, etc. Maybe that's where people find the ad for daily bugle freelance photographers being wanted (maybe even for pictures of spider-man...) and it leads to a "portfolio submission" website where you upload your pic.
Could be cool...

If they can manage to put up Xmas decorations in their thousands in cities nowadays ............................. there's no reason they can't have massive plastic 'webs' to get people talking about the film.
