From the joblo set preview...

"- Look at 5 different pre-visualizations of key scenes from the pic including Vietnam, Mars and Karnac."

err, was there ever any doubt mars wouldnt be in the movie? i mean, its kinda one of the most important and integral moments in the story.

and even early on in the production, snyder said a scene like mars would be one of the few scenes utilizing green screen.

I hope they pull of that green screen effectively. In both 300 and Attack of The Clones, it really felt like they were in a confined space a lot of the time.

They should just film on Mars..Maybe one day.

If the Mars scene wasn't included I would very disappointed. One of my, if not the first, favorite parts in the story.

Why would anybody doubt that Mars would be in there? Has there been any reason to doubt this? I remember Snyder talking about Mars from the very beginning.

The last scene of the trailer has a VERY long pull back with Manhattan raising his machine on Mars.

Is Mars sort of pink like the comics, or red like the planet? I will enjoy it either way, I just want to know.

The new trailer shows Mars and looks a little orange. It kind of reminded me, very quickly, of the planet in Pitch Black. But that thought passed the moment I thought of it.

I have no problems with its color as long as the scene itself looks epic enought to make me believe that it is possible.

Um, yeah. It's there, and pretty much like the book.

That shot in the trailer reminds me of The Fountain....I mean the shot and the music is that epic.

Yeah, I agree. The Fountain is what I thought of. I'm happy with the way everything looks.
