Iron Man Marvel crossover *Rumor*

I'm skeptical, but I'd be all in favor of it.

 

This is just common sense.With both movies being released so close to one another,you'd think they would take advantage of that somehow.

 

Ahhh just put this in the Hulk forums. I think this is a great idea. Even if at the end of the Hulk there's a news snipet with Iron Man talking about how he's gonna hunt down The Hulk, or even if it's just a scene of Iron Man flying by the final battle and being ordered by the miltitary to not interfere as it's too dangerous, etc...Who knows. Very smart idea however I figured Captain America would be hinted about in Incredible Hulk in the opening sequence.

 

the fact that Hulk's origin is tied to the SSS is good enough for me

I would be all for something like Stark and Norton meeting through Fury in a lab or something subtle like that.It would really make sense if it was last minute too.No need for costumes or effects,just getting the 2 actors together.

 

If this leads Iron Man & Hulk together in one movie which will probably be at first a VS movie but then at the end they team up that would be awesome t:

 

Maybe Tony Stark is Banner's top friend on myspace and the set up a secret rendezvous.

 

I hope this pans out. That's the perfect ending for both of these films. Simply have Jackson walk into the room and say something simple like, "Who I am is not important. What I need to talk to you about is very important." And then the screen goes black. Maybe even have this as a mid- or post-credit sequence as movies love to do recently (X3, all POTCs, FF:ROTSS, etc.)

 

It'd be awesome if Iron Man was flying above NY City during the Hulk/Abomination showdown, or Banner going to Stark for his help to find a cure, like in the 90s cartoon or Fury talking to Stark about forming a team of superheros to combat big threats and not let the Hulk/Abom type destruction happen again.

either way all in one movie is going to be great.

 

i can see nick fury approaching each character at the end of the movie for iron man and the hulk. that's all they need to do. it would be very cool!!

 

That would rock if there is a scene in Iron Man of him flying over the city where the Hulk is causing destruction from an aerial point of view. Then in TIH it's shot in reverse showing Iron Man flying overhead from a view from ground level.

 

I thought that the Hulk was exposed to gamma radiation? I've heard that they are using the Super Soldier Serum origin for the film The Incredible Hulk, but was that part of any revamped comic book cannon?

Yeah, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they do something similar in Death Proof/Planet Terror, with the nurse in the hospital? In one movie you see her walking in the hospital from down the hall, in the other movie, it's from her point of view.
Or they should do like the Kevin Smith View askewniverse (or whatever he calls it) where you see a character from another movie make a cameos in different movies, they should do something like that with these new Marvel made movies.

I'm a cheap **** when it comes to crossovers. I'll take anything. I'm not convinced it'll be something spectacular like we're hoping for but then again you never know. So far Marvel has shown me they're serious about these movies with the casting and such, and if they want to establish a shared universe on screen then more power to them. Their first two in-house movies are a great place to start.

 

Seriously hope thats true.

Itd be nice to tie the universes and a nice nod to comic geeks.

but even if its not it wont lessen the fun IRON MAN looks like.

That just sounds so f'n cool.

I dont care how it pans out, but it would be great to see Banner/Hulk onscreen with Stark/Iron Man.

Already this cameo, sounds a billion times better than the entire JLA movie. lol

 

I would want something subtle.
Just Fury mentioning Banner to Stark, or Banner mentioning that maybe Tony Stark could help him out, or something along those lines. I wouldnt mind if Tony Stark and Banner met up (im sure Tony would invite a fellow scientist like Banner to one of his parties), but i dont want to have Iron Man and the Hulk together on screen. Just Tony and Banner. Or not even that. Something more subtle could work, such as someone else said, having the guns that take on the Hulk branded with Stark Industries.

 

I could see Tony possibly bragging about his weaponry spouting how it's used to take down threats, as it voices over, showing them firing at the Hulk.

Or .. something like that, I don't think it'll be a big thing at all, but a nice nod to a connected universe if true.

 

This sounds very cool, I hope it is true.

 

The best way for both of them to be in one film is through Nick Fury. I Think it is about time that Superheroes should start talking about other heroes. Like in Superman Returns the news anchor was reporting something and i heard Gotham. And hearing that was like a wink wink to the fans.

 

I don't believe this for one second...

I mean considering what we know about both films storywise...it just doesn't make much sense...

But hey, i'm all for it if its true.
