Marvel Now - Part 3

The concept that this Galacta has any redeeming cool factor as a character when marvel (quesdada Marvel more specifically) has damned so many good characters to the dumpster blows my mind...

Galacta is flat out dumb...

Ugh, prepare your eyes for dat Bianchi. The man thinks everything is furry.

I miss Bianchi's Batman covers.

Birth? And Simone "The Bondage Man" Bianchi is on the book? I've got no clue what it could be really, but Aaron is always of interest.

New Sentry or Ares book maybe!? Sign me up for either.

I really hope you're right (about Ares; not Sentry). The God of War needs to make a comeback soon. He was the only good thing about Bendis' Mighty Avengers and, although there may not be a place for him in the "Heroic Age", he still deserves an appearance here or there.

EDIT: The Sentry can stay dead...

So, has the general consensus been that Marvel Now was an overall success? I can't speak for anyone else, but if I had to give a personal rating to the titles (that I've read) they'd be positive overall.

Avengers - 5/5
New Avengers - 5/5
Uncanny Avengers 3/5
Thunderbolts -2.5/5
Iron Man -2/5

I haven't read them, but my friends seem to be enjoying Hulk, Thor, and the All-New X-men as well.

Yes, please keep Sentry dead. I never really liked him.

And I would consider Marvel Now a better success the The New 52. Just my personal opinion though.

Aw I love his art -- but he will slow the book down. Anything I have seen him work on full time eventually runs late. :(

I'd be all for a Sentry return if he's TREATED PROPERLY!!!! Bendis did an alright job at times but the rest of the time he was just a nut job. Handle him more like how he was in Jenkins' mini and I'd be all for it.

This better happen somewhere down the road and I hope Namor gets his ass whipped.

Dat Jenkins mini was fantastic.

New Sentry/Vulcan book coming in 2014 by DnA/Deodato :awesome:

From what I've been reading since Marvel NOW! I'd rate:

All-New X-Men 5/5
Uncanny Avengers 4/5
New Avengers 4/5
Avengers 3/5
Captain America 3/5
Cable and X-Force 2/5
Thunderbolts 1/5

I've yet to read Superior Spider-Man, but I'm honestly not excited to. I'm just curious to see what I'll be missing until Peter returns. I'll also be checking out the new Uncanny X-Men (very excited for), Uncanny X-Force, and Secret Avengers.

T'Challa will have to wake up pretty early in the morning to hit Namor with anything he'll actually feel. Unless he still remembers how to do that hammerlock that rendered the Silver Surfer immobile

Or he'll just whip out some kinda Dehydration machine and drop his ass with the push of a button.

I'd consider it a success. Yeah, there's some stinkers like the Cable/X-Force book and some polarizing ones like Avenger Arena but overall it's been all good.

The one thing that bugs me and is considered a negative in my book are the delays with Uncanny Avengers. I had very high hopes for this book and it's been majorly derailed by Cassaday's work ethic. He's getting replaced soon but it will be a few months before this thing gets back on track. By then the book will be completely overshadowed by both of Hickman's Avengers books, which are off to rousing starts. Not really what was expected out of the face of Marvel NOW.....

Namor deserves to die...really he should be on hiatus right now.

BTW Thor is the best Title out right now

All New X-Men - 3/5
Avengers - 5/5
Captain America - 5/5
Deadpool - 4/5
Indestructible Hulk - 4/5
Iron Man - 3/5
New Avengers - 4/5
Superior Spider-Man - 4/5
Thunderbolts - 2/5
Uncanny Avengers - 3/5
