She-Hulk is the imminent MCU show I’m most excited about.
Found it, thanks. Soon as I finished binging something else I'll be watching JJ later
I could see Marvel Studios deciding to space out their D+ Projects when the calendar year begins. I think that the gap between Hawkeye and Moon Knight is good as it gives us a bit of a break from the MCU on Disney+. Same for the movies as there's a gap between Far From Home and Multiverse of Madness of about 5 months.
It’s because they had it not ready, not because people needed a break.
Releasing Obi Wan and Ms. Marvel in the same week/day and having nothing between February till end of March is most likely something, Disney wasn’t so happy about
It can be both, as some people already have had MCU fatigue and need the break.
Since I couldn’t find the right thread for this:
Black Panther's Ryan Coogler Developing Disney+'s Ironheart
Apparently they're now censoring violent scenes in Falcon & Winter Soldier? This seems really dumb and also doesn't bode well for shows like Moon Knight going forward.
Oh come Disney... Really diappointed. Whats the point of parent control then?
Someone on Reddit said this:
While I do agree that when watching the show before these changes or after these changes there is not some huge difference in viewing experience, I do think it sets a very bad precedent. This shows that Disney is willing to censor these shows after the fact and they can do so whenever they like. Sure, the John Walker scene is left intact so far, but if these changes are considered acceptable that leaves the door open to them changing that too whenever they want. And the same goes for any show or movie they have on the platform. I think with the D+ exclusive shows it's particularly egregious because they do not get a physical release, nor are they made available anywhere else meaning that the original version is now no longer available anywhere. Everything could get the George Lucas special editions treatment at any time without warning and fully replace the only version available.
And if they want to give some of their stuff the "Once Upon A Deadpool" treatment that's fine with me, as long as they let you pick what version to watch. As it stands, the censored version is now the only one available regardless of parental controls and other account settings as well as whether or not Star is available in the region. Disney+ is also not very good with allowing different versions in the first place. I've been incredibly annoyed at how their animated movies like Tangled, Moana, Onward, etc. have text in the movie (on books, posters, billboard and character handwriting) translated to the local language for the area you're watching from regardless of what language you choose to watch the movie in.
It's also bound to create continuity errors (for example the blood on Wilfred Nagel is still visible in the next scene)
yeah, that was also my excuse, when teachers caught me cheating with my homework.
Sorry I handed in the concept…
Marvel Studios Starts Filming Disney+ Halloween Special
Maybe they‘ll announce it during SDCC
I will watch this for only one reason.....Gael Garcia Bernal in the lead role. That's a significant coup for Kevin Feige since Bernal is more of an Indie film actor and is very choosy about what roles he takes.
I will watch it for more than one reason…
I wish this was official!
As a horror fanatic I would love confirmation of Dracula in the MCU...
These people found tweets by horror make-up artists talking about "working on a certain Halloween special for a certain streaming platform" and how they "have a stunt performer who is in full werewolf makeup". Though the twitter accounts it's coming from are now privated (and as such I can't check if the tweets have been deleted). So it seems Werewolf-By-Night is likely at least partially practical, if not completely.
AFTER HOURS MEDIA: Werewolfs By Night To Use Practical Effects
Exclusive: Laura Donnelly Playing Elsa Bloodstone in 'Werewolf By Night'
Report: Cinematographer Zoë White is working on 'Werewolf by Night'
Judging from rumors the 2023 projects are:
Secret Invasion (probably Q1…unless they switch it with She-Hulk)
Loki season 2 (probably Q2)
X-Men 97 (I expect it Q2/3)
Iron Heart (probably Q3)
Another Halloween Special - rumored is Man Thing
Echo (probably Q4)
Maybe another Holiday special
I don’t know where to put Armor Wars, since there is more happening with Echo right now. Since Iron Heart already covers an Iron Man like setting, it‘s probably better to have Armor Wars not directly after Iron Heart.
I wish Sony would let Marvel Studios upload the Spider-Man movies to Disney Plus, the Doctor Strange segment for the Marvel Legends series felt incomplete
Could be fun! Great to see so many varied projects being greenlit and rumoured.
With She-Hulk being overlapping probably Andor, I assume the next releases be:
She-Hulk from 17th August till 12th or 19th of October (depends if the release 2 episodes at the star)
Werwolf by Night probably on 26th of October
Guardians Holiday Special probably on 21th of December (maybe earlier)
Secret Invasion probably on 28th of December (maybe January)
That leaves a gap between 26th of October and 21th of December - I think the Groot short will fill the gap.
Disney also have Mandalorian season 3 and Willow to be released between the end of She Hulk/Werwolf and the Guardians Special.
But I do think, that the big shows are overlapping now
We are. It's not the same Captain Carter.
not hearing much about that Werwolf project. It’s not even confirmed yet…
