I know this is a day earlier than usual, and I'm not familiar with this site, but unless this is a very elobarate fake, I'm pretty sure this is legit.

Though, the format is horrible, everything is ran together, there's random symbols just kind of inserted throughout, and there's only a few covers, but if you absolutely got to have them, there they be. You just have to wait for covers.

Hobgoblin returns in Spider-Man, with Dan writing so that should be good.

We'll see about Rulk in Avengers. It sucks, but I don't read HULK, so I'm not really biased against him. Definitely not looking forward to him, and if Spidey leaves, even more incentive to drop it.

Ultimate Spider-Man 150 looks interesting. I haven't bought it since vol 1 ended, but I don't know if I could get into it anymore. It's been a while, and it's not the same without Bagley.

I'll probably bail on the Hulks though. I'm not interested in Gamma family adventures.

Also, conclusion to Thanos Imperative looks great. Hopefully is does not disappoint.

And what's this DnA writing Thor and Iron Man?? That should be good too.

God, Astonishing Thor sounds utterly fantastic. EGO! :hehe:

That cover to Deadpool Team-Up is hilarious.

The Executioner is totally the dude Bendis is bringing back in Avengers: Prime, isn't he? I have a feeling he is. Not really sure how I feel about that. It'll rely heavily on how well Bendis does it, I suspect.

lulz, Avengers vs. Pet Avengers = another hilarious cover.

Hmm, Ant-Man and Wasp ties into Avengers Academy somehow? I was expecting it to be a stand-alone mini.

Wow, Daredevil's ending? Did not expect that. I guess they're planning a big relaunch for a year or two down the line to drum up more interest or something.

Man, that Art Adams cover for Captain America: Man Out of Time looks amazing.

Captain America: Patriot sounds like it'll be an interesting story. It's fun to see how other people attempt to measure up to the legacy Steve established for Cap.

Forever Allies has another gorgeous cover. Lee Weeks really ought to be drawing a series regularly.

Ha, Nova and Spider-Man team-up in I Am an Avenger. I remember their team-up back when they had to take down the Tri-Sentinel in an annual. That was good stuff. Looking forward to DnA's take on Spider-Man in this.

Incredible Hulks: Enigma Force apparently features Bug. I'm wondering if I should give it a try now...

Invaders: Now! sounds cool. I haven't been impressed with Ross' minis about the Invaders so far--I dropped his Torch mini out of sheer boredom about 3 issues in--but Christos Gage is co-writing this one, and he's as reliable a writer as they come. Plus, Union Jack!

Very much looking forward to Thor/Iron Man. Those two have a unique sort of chemistry, as we've seen (a lot) in recent years. It would've been orgasmically awesome if Ron Garney were drawing it instead of just doing covers, but Scot Eaton's pretty good too.

Oh, hey, Aguirre-Sacasa is retelling the myth of Balder's death in Loki. Which we've already seen in continuity back in Thor in the #270s. Yay for retcons... Nice cover, though.

Whoa. Loki's reborn as a little boy? I hope he gets back to his proper age quickly. It's gonna be a bit comical if he goes from a couple years as a woman to a long stretch as a little boy. The story sounds pretty good, though. I really hate how Ferry draws Thor's costume.

Okay, so we know now that Thunderstrike involves a legacy (please be Kevin), likely takes place in continuity in the present, and the first issue will feature the Rhino! I really can't wait for this. It looks every bit as fun as the old DeFalco/Frenz run on Thor's series.

Oh snap, the Avengers crossover with Thunderbolts actually stems out of that troll girl the T-bolts captured. Did not expect that, but it makes a lot of sense. This is looking pretty solid.

"Fan-favorite anti-hero Taskmaster"? Um, technically, Taskmaster is what we would call an anti-villain.
Nerd_smiley.png
Anyway, the issue sounds bats*** insane, which is great. And this would be hilarious cover #3 for Marvel's solicitations.

Man, I desperately wish I were interested at all in anything about Generation Hope. The premise sounds all right and Kieron Gillen and Salva Espin are both great, but I've been avoiding X-Men comics like the plague because they've been a den of mediocrity for years. Maybe I'll break my X-Men fast and give this a try, though.

Oh, awesome, they're re-releasing Robert Rodi's Loki mini-series in a new hardcover. I may just pick that printing up. If anyone's at all curious about Loki, they should pick this hardcover up, too. It's one of the absolute best Thor stories ever and gives a ton of insight into all of the petty, complex, ironic, conflicting factors that make Loki tick. Esad Ribic's artwork is jaw-droppingly beautiful as well.

Awesome x2: They're releasing the Thanos arc from Dan Jurgens' Thor run as a trade in November, too. Really, really fantastic story that's basically the best of both of Thor's worlds--mystical and cosmic. I'd highly recommend that to anyone who digs either Thor or cosmic stuff and especially if you dig both.

Man Daredevil ending sucks. It doesn't sell bad and the character has had nothing but awesome storylines for years.I guess it all ties in with the new Man without fear stuff but it still sucks.

Yeah, that ending doesn't make a lot of sense. It sold well enough, and they just renumbered it...cancelling it now, even as a promotional gimmick, seems like a really dumb idea.

Also, just noticed no Casanova...they were reprints, are we really that bad nowadays with scheduling that reprints even get delays. Yeah, sure, they were adding color, but still...

Lots to comment about, as usual. Rants are inevitable.

- ASTONISHING SPIDER-MAN & WOLVERINE still looks as mental as the last few issues have been, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit it was a guilty pleasure. Jason Aaron could have just coasted, but he's probably telling one of the most bizarre Spidey/Wolvie team up tales ever, and he at least gets the characters right enough in that they can't stand each other (which Bendis and a few Avengers writers have forgotten). Maybe $4 every two months is a bit much for a guilty pleasure, but I've read far worse for longer.

- Can you tell Thor has a movie coming? Marvel launches ASTONISHING THOR as his second ongoing title. That doesn't count another 2-3 Thor mini's that are also coming out, and not including a team-up appearance with Deadpool and another with Iron Man. Clearly, Marvel's marketing strategy has been to take a dead horse and beat it until even the atoms are mush. This has only led to an inevitable crash in popularity and sales for the character involved every single time the company has ever done it. Marvel never learns from history, yet whines every time they repeat it. It's like watching someone try to break down a brick wall with their fist, whine when it hurts, and then return to it again after they heal, like clockwork. They are spamming Deadpool into the ground. They have all but spammed Iron Man into the ground. Wolverine's been given two kids and his sales have never been as poor as they are now. The Hulks are suffering the same fate. Does ANY sane, rational, competent adult work in Marvel editorial or executive? Or is my theory that anyone in middle management and up of any company or facility gets exposed to gas that saps their connection to all reality genuinely true?

- Marvel is selling a kiddie comic based on their upcoming AVENGERS: EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES cartoon for $3.99 an issue. Clearly, Marvel has abandoned the idea that kids buy comics and is focused on rooking the parents who buy the comics for them. For a time warp, the last comic based on an Avengers cartoon series ended in June 2000, and it's cover price was still $1.99. Prices of comics have seen a 100% rise within the decade, all thanks to Marvel's unfathomable greed. I'll say this bluntly; the EIC tenure of Joe Quesada is the one that deserves to end in bankruptcy and shame. But it won't. He has the gig as long as he wants it, and he'll go out a hero for making Marvel reliant on movies and media while doing all it can to kill the direct market comic business once and for all. For all the horrible ideas Jemas had, he was the last stalwart who believed that comics intended for kids or newer readers should be cheap; he was the last man at Marvel corporate who believed such things. Marvel claims the prices are high to pay top talent, but that's the most absurd baloney in the universe; what, no top talent came to Marvel between 2000 and 2004, when comics were still $1.99 - $2.50? Or even until 2008-2009, when comics were still mostly $2.99? Didn't JMS and Grant Morrison come during that time? Maybe Marvel envisions all of their fans are drooling morons who deserve to be cheated at every turn, but I promise I am not. At some point it has to catch up to them. No era of unfathomable greed lasts forever. At some point enough suckers tire of being fleeced that it effects the bottom line. But there's that repeating history lesson again. If paying the top talent is really that expensive, how about Marvel cut back on the 100+ books a month they publish? I know, crazy right? I think Marvel genuinely needs a few people who are actual businessmen involved, instead of a bunch of retired artists and writers cosplaying as businessmen.

- Deadpool still has five books a month. Some of them sell decently well at the midcard level, but that won't last forever. So many $3.99 comics usually causes retailers to skimp on midcard and low sellers to make up.

- Ultimate Comics Spider-Man gets a renumbering back to it's old issue count. I can assure you, the title needed the sales spike.

- Hobgoblin returns in ASM, but which one is it? It can't be Jason Macendale, because he's dead. Kingsley or someone new would make the most sense.

- SPIDER-GIRL #1 launches, on the heels of the MC2 SPIDER-GIRL being canceled. DeFalco thinks this is a confusing idea at best, and I agree; he's a rational adult with experience, which is why he's no longer involved in editorial. The creative team is quite good, but this is more of a spin off of ASM and YOUNG ALLIES than anything, and I doubt it's debut will be pretty. Especially for $4. But I may try it.

- If Marvel really thinks an OSBORN mini is going to do well when BLACK CAT and AMERICAN SON haven't, then clearly whatever is in their drinking water is potent stuff. ASM is selling fine (not amazing, but fine), but it cannot support spin-offs well. Especially not for the past two years. Marvel refuses to even learn from RECENT history of their own doing.

- Rulk joining the AVENGERS is a good move. It prevents me from ever getting curious and trying it.

- SECRET AVENGERS #7 is about two issues into the second arc, and I imagine Nova is replaced by Shang-Chi for this mission, and that Chi will be replaced for the next. Having one rotating member to spotlight a character mainstream fans may not know well while keeping the rest of the roster solid isn't a bad idea. This is essentially MY main Avengers title.

- AVENGERS ACADEMY #6 focuses on Reptil, likely choosing him last as he was the only recruit who wasn't a "new" character at the start of the series. The cover looks pretty intense. Gage has maintained his consistent excellence on this title.

- I am a bit surprised that it appears as if Scarlet Witch will actually be found in the third issue of AVENGERS: THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE. I expected Heinberg to milk that almost to the end, despite the format. Sounds like a busy issue, which is good; at a bimonthly format, it should try to make you feel like you accomplished something every issue.

- ANT-MAN & THE WASP is another new mini I will be trying. Given that Pym is in AVENGERS ACADEMY, it makes sense to tie into it. Still kind of funny how Pym gets second billing on the title because he has, basically, a girl's codename. The preview interview sounded good, though. I don't like that O'Grady is just wearing some of Pym & Lang's spares now instead of his own suit, but whatever.

- CHAOS WAR #3 looks good, and answers the question of where Ares ended up (and why he isn't in "Dead Avengers"). Hercules is now the "Allfather", which means he's fully gotten Zeus' job. The fact that a cover isn't there does seem to show that Khoi Pham is probably rushing to meet deadline. This will merrily replace THANOS IMPERATIVE and SHADOWLAND (which both end in November) as the "event" that gets my blood pumping.

- SHADOWLAND looks like it really will be the climax of several years of DD stories in which he's gotten out of prison and decided to rule over the crime syndicate to control it. After this I wouldn't be shocked if he returned to somewhat of his old status quo. Having Matt Murdock as the Shredder isn't too Heroic Agey. BLOOD ON THE STREETS had a surprisingly good debut, and not even a $4 cover price can keep me from Van Lente writing Iron Fist in POWER MAN (and a new character from him is cool, too). I don't buy for a minute that DAREDEVIL is getting canceled, not when it is still a Top 50 seller and Marvel has yet to axe quite a few lower selling titles for this solicit. I imagine it will be relaunched as NEW DAREDEVIL or YOUNG DAREDEVIL or UNCANNY DAREDEVIL at some point soon.

- Poor Duane Swiercynski. He did a solid run on IMMORTAL IRON FIST that was under appreciated because he wasn't the launch team and it got canned, and I'd imagine the exact same thing will happen with BLACK WIDOW.

- I love how HAWKEYE & MOCKINGBIRD #6 has a blurb about being a jumping on issue, since by then it may be canceled. Sales are not pretty.

- Bulleseye has his own two issue mini, are we serious? Marvel can't have it both ways. They can't charge $400 for ten comics while whining about costs when they publish crap like this that clearly will not sell well, and anyone who expects it to in corporate should be fired or demoted. If Marvel ever wants to trim some publishing fat, it needs to start with spin off material like this.

- The Trial of Cap story in CAPTAIN AMERICA looks intense. But will it still have the Nomad strip? The last gasp at justifying the $4 price besides "because we can, suckers"? We also have four Cap books out. Can you tell he's getting a movie?

- I AM AN AVENGER seems to take the place of AGE OF HEROES, which is fine; I've quite liked that anthology so far. The creative team for this issue as well as the characters look cool. I am a bit nervous about a Nova strip being done by Abnett & Lanning here. The fact that they'll be launching a THOR/IRON MAN comic (which should be good) instead of a space comic as THANOS IMPERATIVE is ending seems a bit telling. If we don't see anything promoted to continue NOVA or GOTG in something else by December or January's solicits, it may mean that the entire space line is taking a nap, and we can forget about seeing Philo or the Nova Corps again.

- I love that cover of FANTASTIC FOUR; every time Reed goes missing, Namor is always right there to try to snatch up Sue before the hour is up. Any increased odds it's Reed who is taking the dirt nap in THREE?

More later...

Astonishing Thor is a mini, not an ongoing.

Yeah, I don't know, I'm still kind of iffy on Spider-Girl, but I may give it a shot. I like that the FF is guest-starring, nice little throwback there. Also, it says in the solicit that the Cap issue will have the usual 8 page Nomad string (look at the page count).

Astonishing Thor's a mini-series, Dread-head. It says "(of 5)" right there in the title line. :)

And as a Thor fan, I'm looking forward to quite a bit of this Thor stuff leading up to the movie. Not because of the movie, but because so much of it looks genuinely good.

"Allfather Hercules" troubles me a bit. That was a uniquely Norse title. Feels awkward on Herc.

And anyone not reading Hawkeye & Mockingbird should be punched in the junk. That's a great series that will inevitably fail. I knew that going in, but it's still galling.

Fine, ASTONISHING THOR is a mini. It still amounts to beating the Thor drum until it gets rather ragged. No character is worth more than 5 comics a month. It just creates a backlog of material readers don't want and retailers can't sell. Maybe Joe Q would understand if he left a panel at a con one day and strolled to the selling floor where retailers desperately have boxes that read "TWO FOR A DOLLAR OR BEST OFFER" full of tons of Marvel comics they couldn't burn for heat.

I was never interested in HAWKEYE & MOCKINGBIRD. I can only try out so many comics if Marvel insists they all be $4.

- Hulk now has 4 titles in his "family", if you count SHE-HULKS. This despite the character not having a film and the sales being at midcard, Top 45 level.

- I am hesitant about INVADERS NOW. I haven't read any of the prior Alex Ross material. But this one has Christos Gage, so it's liable to be good.

- Is INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #32 the end of the arc yet? Because this would be the 7th part of it. I am waiting for the arc to end to drop it, but that's the problem with Fraction; his arcs NEVER end. He is making me yearn for the fast paced writing of JMS. Plus, the solicit seems to promise that Mandarin may show up, and I actually like Fraction's take on the character. Still...comparing it to the fast paced and more enjoyable IRON MAN LEGACY isn't even fair...to LEGACY.

- I love how "fan favorite", whether for a creative team or character, means "low selling". Why not "cult favorite"? Because that would be more accurate? Abnett & Lanning getting an IRON MAN/THOR book seems to be an exercise to bridge them out of the space line and get their names onto something that is expected to sell better, which is telling. It should be good, though. Meanwhile, TASKMASTER chugs along and the cover is hilarious.

- Fraction will be deep into his first arc on THOR and I am hoping he leaves his snail pace with IRON MAN.

- THUNDERSTRIKE is going to sell like rubbish, but it looks interesting, so I may give it a try. But, yeah...Thor spin off, for what is essentially a new character, at $4. Retailers will order about 5 copies each of it, and won't be asking for reorders.

- THUNDERBOLTS #150 actually seems like it will have a rational, storyline related reason for a fight between the Avengers big three and the T-Bolts, and it is all over Troll-Girl. Well done, Jeff Parker. Looks great.

- To be honest, I am stunned that YOUNG ALLIES was not announced as canceled yet. The first issue barely sold in the Top 100, and the second issue drop was probably ghastly. This title by issue six may be barely outselling ARCHIE. I still enjoy it a lot, of course, but I'm a minority as many are clearly not reading it.

- THANOS IMPERATIVE promises an end, but will it be an end to the entire space line? Sure, ROCKET RACCOON & GROOT are coming, but that doesn't count. They're fun but they're not the space line.

- GENERATION HOPE is both a good and bad sign. It features the new mutants whose powers triggered thanks to Hope, who is basically the walking Maguffin who is supposed to reverse M-Day (or bring about a compromise solution for it). The bad news, though, is that there were swarms of new mutant characters created for ACADEMY X that, if alive, are still ciphers that no one is doing anything with. The last class of New X-Men have been abandoned for yet another class. If any franchise has a ghetto where "new" characters (new as in made after 1997) go and never return nor reach any level of relevance, it is the X-Men. The NEW MUTANTS "graduated", but they were from the 1980's. Most of the 90's Generation X are dead or in limbo. And the post 2000 X-class is faring even worse. I am amazed so many young mutants bother with the meat grinder that is the X-Men, where they either die, get mutilated, or abandoned. It'd be better to just reform the Defenders.

- It's worth pointing out that I believe the debut of SCARLET outsold Bendis' last stab at SPIDER-WOMAN.

- It's worth pointing out that I believe the debut of SCARLET outsold Bendis' last stab at SPIDER-WOMAN.

I guess it just shows that, despite what anyone thinks, a creative team is not all that's needed to sell a book. You at least have to have a character(s) that people are interested in reading about. And, really, who in the **** cared about reading about Jessica outside a team, or hell, even within a team?

But yeah, Scarlet's first issue was okay. This seems to be the stuff I actually like from Bendis, though I can honestly say from this first issue, despite apparently being a 'set-up' issue...I have no idea what the series is actually suppose to be about.

November looks like a pretty sweet month.

So, Ultimate Spider-Man is going to go back to original numbering? That's cool I suppose but I wish they would make their minds up. :cmad: Loving that LaFuente cover, looks pretty beautiful.

Slott begins his solo run on Amazing which I've very much looking forward to.

And Daredevil is ending? Are sales really getting that bad on it? I dropped the title back when Brubaker's run ended. I gave Diggle's run a try but I really didn't care for the whole "Daredevil is the leader of the bad guys" type of thing. However, that book had a long run of awesomeness so this is kind of surprising.

Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine is a miniseries? I thought it was an ongoing. Well, I read the first issue for free on digital comics and really liked it I may go back and get the back issues then since it's a mini. Hmm...

I will also be giving that Thunderstrike mini a shot. Mainly because it's the Spider-Girl team of Defalco and Frenz. They are a great team and I do enjoy Defalco. I want to support the title in hopes that enough sales garner him more work in the Marvel Universe. Should be interesting...

Fantastic Four looks like it's gonna be interesting and I can't wait to start reading the Hickman/Epting stuff. Loved Eptings work on Captain America and Hickman is kicking ass on the book. Plus SHIELD is all kinds of awesomeness.

My thoughts about the November......

Astonishing Thor I'll have to think about when it get's closer. Even though it's a mini, I may already be fed up with Fraction by then and will be looking somewhere for my monthly Thor fix.

I could give 2 craps about USM going back to original numbering. I hate that books are relaunched to begin with just to boost sales. It's equally stupid when they revert back to the original numbering. Hopefully it's the 1st sign this book will be gone soon.

I'm not too big on Ramos on ASM but I'm looking forward to Slott fully taking over this book and one of my favorite childhood villains, The Hobgoblin, come back. And the Osborn mini has me verrrrrrry interested.

So Deodato is pulling double duty on Avengers and SA? Or is that a typo? Not that it matters, with Rulk joining the team not even Deodato can pull me in.

Spider-Man is oddly missing from the cover to NA #6, I wonder if he's completely going to be removed from the Avengers considering the Spidey-to-FF rumors. I'll probably stick w/NA for another arc, I'm feeling positive about the book more so than Avengers.

That cover to Avengers Prime makes me laugh a bit. Steve's got a sword and shield, Thor got nothing and Tony's got.......a stick......:awesome:

FINALLY! Wanda's coming back in Childrens Crusade #3. Very excited about that!

Ghost Rider is gonna be the big hero at the end of Shadowland? Niiiiiiiceeee!

Those covers for Cap:MOOT are friggin NOT good. It's like Adams and Hitch aren't even trying there. I used to love their work too....

I must have missed I Am An Avenger in the previous solits. It looks interesting, I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for that one.

It's gonna take 7 issues for Iron Man to fight Detroit Steele? If I had any reservations about dropping that book, you better believe they're gone now.

I wonder what the deal is with PUNISHER: IN THE BLOOD? Is this mini in canon and is gonna separate FrankenCastle and a new Punisher ongoing? Remender's doing it so I'm immediately sold.

Another book I'm sold on is Generation Hope by Gillen after his spectacular Thor run. Maybe it could be the start of something big and both he and Gischler will take the reigns of the X-Men, bringing some much needed stability to the line. I've been impressed by Gischler's work with Curse of the Mutants.

And where the hell is PunisherMax on the list????

Finally, if any newer readers want to read a GREAT Cap story, you absolutely HAVE to pick up the Bloodstone Hunt TPB. It features Cap vs Baron Zemo, Cap's first encounter with Crossbones and Cap's romance with Diamondback in it's infant stage. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for any fans of Avengers: The Initiative, the current Thunderbolts team and Frankencastle. A lot of those features characters/plotlines have ties to this story in a sense. It'll be the best $19.99 you'll ever spend!

That's okay, first issues of most Bendis comics aren't clear on what it is about. Heck, HOUSE OF M took until about issue three to get somewhere.

You are right, while a creative team that is "hot" is a draw, it also does matter what they are on. Mark Millar on any of his ICON books usually outsells most of his run alongside Hitch on FANTASTIC FOUR. There just isn't a whole lot of interest in the Four, or rather Marvel has not garnered much interest, for years. JMS hasn't been able to get BRAVE AND THE BOLD to surge in sales like he once bragged. It does have to be a perfect combination of a hot creative team, a franchise people want to see them on, a company convincing retailers & fans that it is "important" (because "good" isn't enough anymore, and often is irrelevant to "importance" in terms of sales), and effective promotion and advertisement; one interview at Newsarama isn't enough and hasn't been since...when did Newsarama start?

Avengers: The Children’s Crusade #3 - appears to be moving at a decent clip, which is good given the bimonthly schedule.

Black Widow #8 - still unsure whether I'm going to stick with it (I'm 50/50 on Swiercyznski's past work).

Captain America #612 - looks good.

Captain America: Forever Allies #4 - first issue was decent.

Chaos War #3 - I expect excellence.

Chaos War: Alpha Flight #1 - I like some of these characters, though I kind of wish Van Lente was writing this.

Daredevil #512 - final issue, eh? I guess they're serious about somebody replacing Daredevil for a while; though God knows Matt could probably use a break.

Fantastic Four #585

New Mutants #19

Secret Avengers #7

Shadowland #5

Thor #617 - also unsure about whether I'll stick with Thor when Fraction arrives; his IIM never really took off with me, but I did like his past Thor stuff.

Uncanny X-Men #530

Wolverine #3 - Aaron on Wolverine is always a buy for me.

X-23 #3

Well, he's stuck in a world that favors magic over science. Man's gotta make do. :D

Does anyone else think Thor's costume looks really, really plain and weird without the cape? I didn't realize how much that splash of bright red really made the costume work as a whole. Without it, it's just bland black and silver and leather.

My thoughts about the November......

I wonder what the deal is with PUNISHER: IN THE BLOOD? Is this mini in canon and is gonna separate FrankenCastle and a new Punisher ongoing? Remender's doing it so I'm immediately sold.

Nope. Franken-Castle ran its course and was inevitably canceled. This mini, which should really be a continuation of the current title, will return Frank to normal. Apparently Franken-Castle's sales were poor enough to warrant a cancellation but Marvel isn't willing to quit on the character just yet. So, they release the next arc as a mini to try and boost sales.

I would be interested in this (i.e. getting the REAL Punisher back) if Remender wasn't writing. Oh, well. We'll see if I can forgive him by November.

As for Punisher MAX, I haven't heard anything about cancellation and the book has always sold consistently for years. I really don't think it's coming to an end. Probably just jumping a month. If it does go, it'll be a mighty shame. MAX has really felt like the only true Punisher title since 2004.

Avengers - Red Hulk? Why? Between Bendis' horrible dialogue, Romita's throwback art, and a team that makes no sense (i.e. Wolverine, Spidey, and Hulk) i may jump ship.

Secret Avengers - Best Avengers title out there and a definite but.

Avengers Academy - Hope it returns to the greatness of the first issue, but still interested.

New Avengers - Eh, why not.

Thunderbolts - Count me in! The title has been great since #144.

Iron Man - Fraction is really trying my patience as this is the slowest book I have ever read, but I'll try to stick with it.

Maybe the new Punisher mini. Maybe.

Enough with the vampires!

Ant-Man & The Wasp looks good but can we get Eric out of that ancient costume?

So Wolverine is in hell in his own title, but he is a vampire in the X-Men titles. :p Why is it by the way that Blade can't hold his new title? Lack of proper creative team? He has box office success movies. Was in Paul Cornell's Captain Britain & M13 arc(s) and whatnot. Why no love for this guy in mainstream Marvel?

Ugh, the first one was my fav. His T-Bolts one was ok, but that 1970's "Big head" version is ridiculous

I used to love Romita's art. But I just can't stand his gloves for Thor, and his take on Hawkeye - the mask looks ridiculous, and he keeps drawing him in a 90's era costume. And what's with having a bow at full draw, but no bend on the bow itself? That arrow isn't going anywhere when he looses it.
8_avengers_7_02.jpg

I don't think the arrow's supposed to be at full draw. It looks like Clint's got it halfway knocked so he can draw it quicker when something does appear. I agree about the mask, but I like the costume Romita draws much, much, much more than the awkward-ass, asymmetrical crap Lopez and other artists keep putting on Hawkeye thanks to Coipel's equally awkward redesign way back when.

How Hawkeye should look like. :p
