The whole Dylan campaign was getting a bit tiresome for me.
I still want Dylan to get the role, but if that doesn't work out, I just hope they can get a good actor that embodies the Peter Parker character.

Man, I want this casting to happen now. I am very sick of seeing these Peter vs Miles articles from people who don't even read the comics. That's all these sites are talking about, yet it's not even about character or whats better for story telling in the MCU

The most logical choice for these characters is to use them both in the long haul. Not just one or another.

I personally don't want Miles Morales.
To me Spider-Man is Peter Parker. And like someone said here, in a way Peter Parker is more important than Spider-Man.

Why not Miles? For me, Miles is just an erzatz of Parker, created only to bring diversity in the ULTIMATE universe after Peter's death, and a big buzz.

So please, no Miles Morales.
Nevertheless, I would totally watch a tv show(like Netflix Daredevil) on that character.

I have no problem with him being added down the line or even with Peter. Which I think could be really fun. Multiple Spider characters is something that has yet to be shown. But that all has to be set up post Parker introduction.

I don't get why people don't see that. Really seems like they all just want to bait fans with wars.

I just hope they don't saddle Peter with Miles in the films. He already has a strong enough supporting cast that they don't need to shove Miles in our face.

Make his movie a stand alone,so that people like me that could give a darn, can just skip the movie.

Oh I completely agree with you. But IF Marvel/Sony shoves Morales in (hopefully not!), I'd be OK with it as long as he doesn't replace Peter.

Bingo. A choice like that just doesn't make sense. Even in the Ultimate Universe were Miles comes from Peter Parker still exists, that's how Miles has any connections to major Spidey characters.

If they don't want another Origin story then Miles needs to wait for awhile. Cause audiences will want a detailed explanation on why Parker isn't Spider-Man and why does this guys have Spider powers too.

With Parker we can skip the ******** and get to the good stuff.

I think some fans would be wondering how Jimmy Olsen didn't end up in Man of Steel but made his way into the MCU.
